A few weeks later

      A few weeks passed after the day Jax and I had sex and I can honestly say our bond grew 10 times as stronger from when he saved me from his uncle. I don't know about the subject of love yet, but whatever this is that Jax and I have, is pretty close to it. "Who's got you smiling all extra hard?" My mom said as I got off the phone with Ajax after an hour. "My boyfriend."  I said sitting at the dining room table. "You finally got a boyfriend? I thought you were gonna be alone for the rest of your life." She said laughing at me as I straight faced her. " I've had a boyfriend before ma...you don't remember Luke?" I said going over to the refrigerator with her following me. "We will not count that hoe as a boyfriend in this house." She said waving her finger in a serious tone. "Alright mom." I said chuckling at her. "Now show me a picture of this boy." She said sitting down beside me. "Mmmm he's cute, what's his name?" She asked continuing to look at the picture. "Ajax." I said smiling. "Hmm...that's unique." She said handing me my phone back. "Same thing I said." "Great minds think alike, now tell me...what do you like about this Ajax?" She asked propping her head up on her hand.

         "Well he's been through the same stuff We went through with dad, his is more intense though, he's thoughtful, protective, beautiful and—" "Alright alright I think you love him." She said interrupted me. "I don't know about love yet. I think I'm almost there though...I think he is too." I said smiling thinking about his smile. "You know what I think? We should have family dinner tonight, including Ajax and minus your uncles." She suggested to me knowing I was going to be hesitant towards it. "I'll make your favorite peach cobbler..." she said prolonging her last word, teasing me. She got me. "Fine." I said with a smile. "Great, I'll get started right now." She said getting up and walking into the kitchen. "Well I've got my class in a few so I'm about to head out." I said to her walking towards the door. "Ok bye!" She shouted as I exited the house.

        I finally walk in to my class as the professor began his lesson. As I'm taking notes on what he's talking about, I hear someone sit next to me. I ignored them and kept taking notes, until the person spoke in my ear. "Wassup sexy." The voice said as I turned over to come face to face with my ex, Luke. "What the fuck are you doing in this class?" Whisper-yelled into his ear. "Oh you didn't hear? I switched my major so now I'm in the same class with you." He said smiling at me which almost made me throw up.......

       I raised my hand to ask if I could go to the bathroom. Once the professor said yes I grabbed all my stuff and walked out the classroom. Why did he have to show up? Ruined my whole day. I just need my baby right now. I walked in the bathroom and sat on the counter and called Jax. "Hello?" He said sweetly into the phone. "Wassup?" I said happy to be hearing his voice. "Nothing just finished working out with my mom, aren't you suppose to be in class?" He asked suspiciously. "Yes, but I wanted to hear your voice. I missed you." I said truthfully. "Haha you just saw me yesterday, but I miss you more." He said to me. "Hey my family is having a dinner tonight and I was wondering if you would like to come?" I asked nervous of his response. "Of course, I was wondering when I was gonna meet the fam." He said chuckling into the phone. "Good, because you didn't have a choice according to my mom." I said letting out a breath I didn't know I was holding. "Alright, get back to class sir." He demanded laughing as he was about to hang up "Wait Jax... I uh...I love you." I said finally making the decision that I truly loved him. I sat there nervous for his response once again. He waited a few seconds before he responded. "I love too babe, text me after your class." He said hanging up and my mood was lifted. I walked back in class smiling like the happiest man alive and sat in a different seat, away from Luke.

        The professor finally let us out of the class. I packed my stuff up and walked out the class. As I walked out the class. Luke came running up behind me and grabbed me by my arm, pulling me back. "What man?" I said beginning to be pissed. "What? You got a new dude now so you wanna act brand new? Do you not remember what we had?" He said running his hand down my chest. "Yes, I actually do have a new dude, and he five times...scratch that, 100 times better than you'll EVER be." I said removing his hand from my chest. "And yes I do remember what we had...Key word HAD, meaning in the past. I've moved on and I've been moved on Luke, why don't you do the same." I said and with that, I walked away from him and walked to my car, got in and left.
