I was nothing but a mediocre
An old film
A tainted scene of black and white
But when
Crimson red brushed past my wrist
Blue filled the void
Endless tears and howling
And then suddenly,
The blinding yellow
Blurred my sight
Teaching me about
The intoxicating smell of smoke
And your scarlet smiles
The melting stares of your chocolate eyes
And your soft porcelain skin
I am breathless
I am in awe of your beauty
I am torn from your pretentious smiles
I am whipped by your laughter
I am drowning from your stare
'til I am once again breathless
I am sinking in this puddle of colors you radiate
There was nothing I could do
I can't taint you with shades of black
I was nothing but a mediocre
