"Do not dwell in the past son, I have a message that I was told to deliver to you as soon as possible before it's too late for the possibility." His father spoke quickly his face becoming firm, wanting to get straight to business, even though he wanted to speak more to his son and speak to the rest of his family but he didn't have much time.
"What is it father?" The flowed so easily from Christopher's mouth and caught both him and his father off guard, and warmth filled his father, but he went back to the matter at hand.

Chapter 8
-------------
Christopher's father looked at his son and hoped that his son would know what to do, so that he could live the rest of his life happily, and hopefully not have as much hardship as he did. His family dissevered the best that they were able to achieve, and he hoped that his son listened to every word he said.
"They have sent me to tell you that you do have a way of not ending up like I did." Christopher's face quirked up a little at the revelation, waited for his father to continue, and so he continued to speak.
"Even though I am upset that they didn't tell me about this when I needed it, I was told it was my fate, and I couldn't avoid it." His father said sadly, but masked his emotion to tell his son how to save the faery.
"The message I was told to tell you was: one must uncover their true feelings and the maiden will awaken from such feelings." His father said and Christopher looked at him confused, what was he trying to say, but before he could speak his father spoke first. He knew his son wanted to ask him questions but he was told to just deliver the message and they would bring him back.
"I'm sorry son, but my time is up, just remembered what I said and that I love you guys." His father smiled at him and before Christopher could protest; his father disappeared in front of him. Christopher wondered for a second if maybe he had been hallucinating or maybe daydreaming, but he knew in his mind and his heart that what had just transpired was not a figment of his imagination.
Christopher couldn't understand the message, because he cared for Autumn deeply but it didn't seem to be enough to wake Autumn, he remembered the first day they met, how the humble faery was a little spit fire that day. He remembered how she had kissed him that day, remembering how exhilarated he felt at that moment. He sat there trying to figure what feeling was he supposed to uncover, but he strayed from his thoughts when his mother entered the room.
Bella could see stress written all over her son's face, she had wanted to tell her family the truth a long time ago, but she had been afraid of what would come of it. Not sure if they would have believe the fact that their mother was a faery, and that their father had sacrificed his memories for their sake. When she had woken up from her sickness, she had been in denial about what had happened, and watched the door every day, hoping to see him come through and hug her. She had finally snapped to reality and cried the whole, night but had told herself to concentrate on the family that needed her.
She walked towards her son and held her son, giving the comfort that he needed as she rubbed his back. Christopher did not care that he was a grown man crying in his mother's arms, he needed the comfort. "I know that this is stressful, but time is of the essence, Autumn is getting worse, and she's deteriorating faster than I did which is not a good thing. I know that leaving Autumn will hurt, but it's the only thing that can save-" She was caught by Christopher's response and she stopped rubbing his back.
"Dad just told me there's another way." Bella looked quizzically at her son; she didn't understand how he came into contact with his father, when he passed away.
Christopher saw the look on his mother's and continued to tell everything his father said and when Christopher mentioned how he watch over them and seen her tears for him, he saw a lone tear trail down her cheek and she quickly wiped it away and smiled at her son.
"Come, we must go to Autumn." Bella said to her son and they both walked towards the twins' room, and there was a white glow that emitted from the bottom of the door and they could hear the frantic talking of the twins. Both Bella and Christopher barged into the room and immediately stopped there movement, when they laid their eyes on Autumn.
She was floating off the bed, her hands hanging by her side, the glow was coming from her body, and her skin looked paler than before. "What's going on mom?" He asked as he looked at his frantic in her spot.
"She's not fighting it." Bella said speaking to no one in particular, she was shocked at what she saw, and she couldn't understand why Autumn wasn't fighting to stay with them.
"What do you mean she's not fighting it? Fighting what?" Christopher asked incredulously as he looked between his mother and Autumn.
"When I was sick, I had not known why, but when they came for me, I refused to leave the world, not wanting to leave my family." Bella started to explain.
"Who are they?" Angela asked.
"The fae Gods, they come to retrieve the sick faes to take them out of their misery, but we have the option to wait for a certain amount of time before they come back to take you again for good." Bella couldn't look at her son instead she looked a corner in the room. She didn't want to see her son's face when she said the next words.
"She's letting them take her." She had whispered it so softly that he almost didn't hear her, almost.
