The bus finally came to a halt as they arrived at their destination. Singto groggily opened his eyes and drowsily turned to the window, eyelids blinking to adjust his sight from the brightness of the light. He looked out the window and yawned widely, eyes finally open at the familiar sight of Pattaya beach coasts. He stretched his arms over his head and stood up to gather his bags above the compartment.

Singto was the first to get down the bus and was instantly assaulted by the salty yet soothing ocean breeze. A smile made its way to his lips as he inhaled the salty air and basked in the warm rays of the sun. At the corner of his eyes, he saw a different school bus unloading passengers that seems to be excited students with their banners and university bags strapped on their shoulders.

He attempted to take a candid shot of them but through his lenses, his camera caught the picture of a man. A man of fair skin and childlike, innocent smile. Singto immediately lowered his camera to assess the man further but he was already lost in the crowd. He craned his neck further and looked around frantically, still he failed.

"Singto, everyone's already gathered up front. You need to give the instructions now," Tay pat his shoulder roughly and pointed his chin towards their entire faculty.

Singto grimaced in pain and nodded his head. He looked over his shoulder in hopes of spotting that young man again, only to went on his way disappointed. Unbeknownst to him, the man he searched for just squeezed his way back to the front and yelled out his greetings and congratulations.

"Everyone, don't stray too far and wait for further instructions. I'll head to the management to receive the room keys!" Singto yelled over the crowd of bustling students. "By the time I get back, you better be in your groups!"

A chorus of affirmation followed his words. Nodding in approval, Singto entered their hotel and sighed everyone in. There were 165 students in the Faculty of Communication Arts, major in Broadcasting, and they are four students to share in one room. He got the set number of keys and handed them out for everyone to settle in and meet back out at Cottage 9 in 30 minutes sharp.

"How did you get the solo room?" Esther grumbled as they carried their luggage on the 8th floor of the hotel.

Singto hummed and checked for his room number while they passed the corridor. "Why are you even with me? I know you're on the 15th floor, Esther," Singto said.

"I'm trying to talk you out in switching rooms with me," She confessed blandly. "I want my own room!"

Singto laughed sarcastically and shook his head, grinning when he finally found the room number 89. "Weren't you the one who chose to room with Neen and Namtan?" He pressed his key card against the scanner and opened the door.

"Well, that's true," she relented uncertainly.

"Then head back to your room already," he chuckled and dropped his bag on the floor before turning to her with his head tilted and hip cocked to the right. "Remember, we're meeting downstairs in..." he looked down on his watch and grinned cheekily. "15 minutes."

Esther pouted and rolled her eyes. She turned on her heel and continued her way to the higher floor. Singto watched her go with a smile before rolling his eyes in fond exasperation and closing the door behind him. Just as his door clicked shut, the room 88 next to his opened and the young man he spotted before exited and locked the door behind him. He whistled mindlessly, strolling through the corridor and oblivious to the fact he just missed someone he was meant to meet.
