Singto turned his head to his direction and raised an eyebrow. Surprise then familiarity crossed his features before he slid the papers towards the polite nurse. Krist silently gaped and shuffled on his feet. He didn't dare turn to the glaring nurse in front of him and settled to tapping the umbrella on the floor instead.

"Sawadee khrap, Khun. My name is Krist." Krist waii hastily and took a step forward.

"Sawadee khrap," Singto waii back, keeping his eyes on him.

"I'm just here to return this to you. Thank you for lending it to me yesterday," he shoved the coat and umbrella towards Singto and smiled nervously at him.

Singto eyed the objects questioningly and set them aside. "I didn't think I'd get this back though," he chuckled.

Krist had to admit, he looks good in a white coat with a stethoscope hanging on his neck. He was silent when Singto smiled at him patiently and raised both eyebrows in amusement. Krist took a deep breath and lightly bowed at him.

"I'm sure you'll need it in the following days

"I'm sure you'll need it in the following days. The rain is still not letting up so it's best you get those back," Krist replied.

"Oh, but I can buy another one," Singto chuckled and leaned on the counter with a playful smirk on his lips.

"That's what I don't want you to bother with," Krist shot back and cocked his hip to the side. "Thank you for lending it to me again."

"Well, I suppose saying you could keep them would be rude not when you bothered to come here and see me," Singto muttered lowly, yet his eyes were glinting playfully.

Krist wanted to correct that he didn't come to see him and only had the intention to return the items but a fake cough made him turn his attention to the smirking polite nurse and glaring reception nurse. "Dr. Ruangroj, what do you want me to do with this?" She waved the paper lightly. A loud gush air from the outside blew harshly and entered the hospital doors.

Singto straightened up and scratched his nape nonchalantly. "Oh, ah-- The laboratory. Take this the laboratory. It's a request for the results of the samples I sent, just tell Nurse Arm and he'll be on it," he instructed.

Nurse Min nodded her head slowly, alternating her eyes between them before she dramatically slid her way into the back. Krist watched her dumbly and shot his attention to the reception nurse who cleared her throat as well. She is starting to get on his nerves with the way she's acting towards him. Feeling challenged and thoroughly insulted, Krist faced Singto again.

"Khun'Singto, do you have the time now?" Krist asked, staring straight into the eyes of the nurse.

Singto hummed and checked his watch. "A moment, Khun," he held up a finger as he said so. "20 minutes. I'll be out in 20 minutes. Why?" He smiled serenely, which Krist responded with a grin.

Krist bounced on the soles of his feet and nodded slowly. "Then... will you grab a bite with me? My treat," he chuckled when he saw Singto's eyes widened. "It's a compensation for the help yesterday."
