Arthit, in all his life, has never been this relentless and giddy. This was the second time he woke up early (the first one being Kongpob's examination announcement) but he didn't even feel an ounce of morning annoyance despite his lack of sleep. He got up with a pounding heart and a wide grin. It was still too early for him to head over there, sparing about four more hours before the allotted time.

Arthit spent yesterday's day off cleaning his apartment, filling up his fridge, doing the laundry and whatnot. He also took a leave for today, allowing himself some time to prepare his mental state and will. His wait was finally over. Arthit eyed the ring on his finger with a small smile. His hands became clammy and his legs won't stop bouncing, it was better to get himself some breakfast before he gets too absorbed with his thoughts.

A few more hours before his arrival, Arthit had made up his mind. He clenched his fist and smiled at their shared portrait on his desk.

'It's time to step up, Kong...'

Kongpob eyed the cloudy horizon through the plane's window. His heart was pounding and his leg kept on bouncing to the point his seatmate was looking at him with mild annoyance. He checked the time again for the nth time and kept on staring at the sky with so much mirth, he didn't what to do with it. He's almost home. He's almost back in the arms and warmth of his lover. Kongpob had every reason to be eager and impatient. Just a few more hours and he'll get what he's been longing for.

'P'Arthit, I'm almost home...'

The second the plane landed, his heart almost jumped out of chest and yet he was surprisingly untroubled and was rather feeling serene. It was the feeling of home. He pulled his bag from the compartment above the second the pilot gave the signal and sauntered down the plane. He waited for his luggage patiently but his eyes drifted over the gate, where his lover was waiting for him.

Kongpob played with the precious stud pierced on his skin, faintly recalling the millisecond of pain as the needle stabbed his skin. He smiled fondly and turned just as his bags were secured. He pushed the cart and leisurely passed the security gates and just as he turned to a corner, his eyes immediately zeroed to Arthit.

It's like time slowed itself and gave them their moment of reunion. Even from the distance, Kongpob can see his smiling face and sparkling eyes; mirroring his own. His heart swelled and his grip on the handle tightened. He wanted to run up to him but he told himself to be patient. Every step he took felt like his thundering heart, ringing in his ears and sending vibrations in his body. He paused in front of his beloved boyfriend and they embraced each other with the barricade the only hindrance between them.

"I missed you so much, P," Kongpob murmured softly against his neck. His eyes shut tight as he inhaled the sweet and nostalgic scent of his partner.

"I know..." Arthit replied just as softly. "Me too."

Everything was a flurry of movement.

Everything was a blur.

To the lovers, nothing else mattered. The whole world was insignificant as they shared their warmth and closure. They didn't even mind the lady beside Arthit who was giving them a rather questioning look for how long they've been hugging. If they were in the safety of their privacy, Kongpob will shower Arthit with affection and whisper words in his ears with just how much he missed him.

When they pulled apart, Kongpob thoroughly stared at his senior's face, memorizing each detail, looking for changes that might have occurred, anything at all. There was one thing that caught his attention, Arthit was reciprocating his emotions and yet, it was something deeper; profound. Arthit's eyes reflected something Kongpob couldn't place, like he was sure of something. It was as if he made the biggest decision in his lifetime and trying to convey it for Kongpob to understand.
