Chapter 17 : Endgame

Main Street

The reinforcements brought up a lot of heavy device and even swept the North of the island down to the South. But they chose to surround the control room instead of assaulting it. They were applying the principle of Blitzkrieg : surround your enemy and make them starve until they surrender.

Owen and Sasha took Donny's MRZR and rolled full speed to the Control Room, knowing how to assault the  building from an unexpected direction.

Control Room

Mills and his top terrorists were all but unhappy. They saw through the surveillance cameras that all of their henchmen and spies were killed by the reinforcements, if we exclude the ones killed by Owen, Sasha, Barry or Claire and Zara.

Outside of the Control Room

Owen and Sasha were taking aim with their grapling hooks, which they launched. "Ready?" Owen asked. Question to which Sasha retorted, "Swift as a coursing river with all the force of a great typhon and the strenght of a raging fire."

The two of them then climbed the wall leading to the helipad where they bursted out, taking two bad guys by surprise. Owen crippled the left one, a Moldovan man, with his Glock-17 while his daughter used her SIG-Sauer P226E2 to cripple the second one, a Vietnamese henchman. The two of them escalated the platform and finished the two terrorists with a bullet to the head before kicking the door... only to be confronted by Wang and Abramov. "OK. You take the Russian, I pick the Chinese." Sasha suggested. "Good idea!" Owen replied. Abramov took out a huge knife, just like Wang did, while Owen displayed his surviving knife and Sasha unsheathed her EOD knife. Just then the two terrorists attacked the two heroes. But the latter were quicker than the former and wrapped their arm around the bad guys' one, which allowed them to slice the villain's auxiliary arm. The Gradys then dropped off the villains who said, "One more time." Once again, the Gradys waited and narrowly dodged the Abramov's and Wang's blade and sliced each of the men's wrist right before slicing their neck after which the father and daughter switched to their pistol.

Then Wheatley appeared and attempted to unholster his Beretta 96FS pistol but Sasha and Owen simultaneously fired their handgun and put him two bullets in the forehead.

Meanwhile, Mills, Porter and Winters were franctically preparing for a last ditch effort to obtain Claire's Quadtosaurus code. But a noise was emitted and the four remaining henchmen pointed their guns at the door, which opened itself to reveal Sasha and her father , who immediately gunned down the four terrorists, before Sasha shot dead Winters and Mills while Owen shot Porter four times in the chest. But the computer was still searching Claire's code. "Yippee Ki Yay, motherfucker!" the father and daughter yelled simultaneously.

"How do we deactivate this shit?" Sasha asked. Then Vivian answered her, "Search my office. There's the canceling code. Only me, Lowery, Mr. Masrani and Claire have it." Sasha searched the office when Eagle Team, Barry, Claire, her nephews, Zara and the Hemmingway family hurriedly entered the office through the safety stairs. "What you gonna do?" Claire asked. "Wipe the threat." Sasha answered. Then Owen found the abort code in Vivian's desk and read it aloud while Sasha tapped the sequence. Owen read it "The abort code is : one, five, coma, j, colon, semi colon,8, 9, 3, 2, acute accent, acute accent and 5." Sasha tapped the code while Eagle Team freed the hostages when a message appeared. It read 'Quadtosaurus Procedure is ABORTED.'

Sasha now entered something to kill the Indominus Rex in its paddock. Lowery told her, "The I-Rex has two implants : a tracking one and a neutralization one." Sasha then came across the code to blown the Indominus Rex head off. Lowery told her "It is 11^^:;,MM88O..55$$££55*µ6" which Sasha entered and it did what it had been designed for : on the camera of paddock 11, people in the room could see the implant blowing up the head of the Indominus Rex.

Main Street

After rescuing the remaining hostages and aborting the Quadtosaurus procedure and killing the Indominus Rex, the protagonists met up with the reinforcements and announced them that the problem was now solved. Everyone felt relief as the military forces evacuated Isla Nublar, while freeing all of the locked people.

"Hey Sasha! I want you to know something." Owen told her. "What is it, Dad?" Sasha asked her father. "I'm proud of you!"Owen told his daughter. "You serious?" the gal asked her father. "Yeah. May sound strange, but I couldn't be prouder of my single daughter." the handler replied. "Thanks Dad. Oh by way, I agree about you and Claire." Sasha informed her father. Owen then hugged closely his daughter while Donny looks on proudly : there was now a new recruit for SEAL training. As Claire appeared, Sasha decided to let her share a moment with her father. "Thanks for saving me, my assistant and my nephews." Claire told her. "It's my job to do it." Tick-tock answered. Then tens of thousands of people rushed towards Claire and Owen to applause them for their role in thwarting the terrorist attack on Jurassic World. "Thank you Ms. Dearing! Thank Mr. Grady!", "My sister died in the hands of these morons but thank you for avenging her." Then people ceased their thanks to listen to Claire "You shouldn't thank us! It'... Where did Sasha go?" Claire asked her lover. "She stuck with somebody. For survival." Owen answered. This caused Claire, Owen, Zara, Zach and Gray as well as everybody else to chuckle.

Sasha was now facing Donny. "Hey Sasha. I think I will recommend you." Donny began. "For what?" Sasha asked. "SEAL training." Echo Team leader informed her. "Seriously Sir? No I don't think I'm suited for it." the EOD member replied. "You are." Navy SEAL Dave vouched for Donny. "Let me think about it, please Donny." Sasha politely answered. "As you wish." Donny told her.

That said, Sasha went to talk with the teenage girl whose father got killed in the aviary. "Hey. What's your name?" she asked. "Julie Markinson. Why? Why did my father die?" the teen told her crying. "Cause he was willing to die so that you may live. He did it out of love for you. My father is named Owen Grady. He told me : 'Listen Sasha. If something goes south, I am willing to die, so that you may live.' I think your father had the same thought." Sasha told Julie "Thanks. Thank you so much. I'll tell to my mom." Julie replied to the servicegirl. Sasha hugged Julie before letting her call her mother, having seen that the military had managed to build a makeshift phone tower with their own electronic device. After Julie explained everything to her mother, as did other people who have lost a loved one, she turned around smiling to get her mom talk to Sasha, but the latter just disappeared.

The Fleet

When the radio message "Danger down." from Sasha was heard, it was a huge chorus of chears and laughters. Davis smiled for the first time since the beginning of the crisis : he now knew he could finally recommend someone for SEAL training.

Main Street

As people were gathering around evacuation points, Claire felt her phone vibrating. It was Karen. "Hello Karen?" Claire asked on the phone. "Hello Claire. Are Zach and Gray with you?", Karen told her sister. "Yes they are, but they're a bit tired you know." the operations manager answered. "Yes. Thank you for saving them. And I'm so sorry for berating you." Karen apologized. "It's forgiven." Claire told her smiling

Owen finally met Sasha and the Hemmingway family. "Sasha. I wnat to thank you for what you have done for my sister and my children." Chelsea began. "Not to mention thank you for your service." Melissa added. "Pfew. It's my job after all. Running after bad guys, shooting them and defusing bombs. It's my routine. So please get on the move, someone's gonna take your seat." Sasha answered.

After several hours directing the evacuees, it was the turn of the military personel to get off the island through the North of the island. In the last US Navy Seahawk helicopter to leave, Sasha looked one last time as fighter jets were now firebombing Nublar to destroy everything on it once and for all.
