Days passed by and Jennie always went to the coffee shop where she found that girl. She asked for an americano with her weak korean skills, like what she did the first day she came, and waited in a random table.
After a while, she found what she was waiting for the most: she entered the shop. Yes, she was waiting for the mysterious girl from the other day, she discovered how she would always go to the same coffee shop to talk to her friend who worked there.
"Here you have" the waitress said in english, surprising Jennie who was ready to answer in korean. The waitress laughed at her reaction "i realized you weren't that good with korean so i decided to talk to you in english since you seem to feel more comfortable with it"
Jennie smiled at her "thank you... "
"Rosé, just call me Rosé" she introduced herself "have a great night..."
"Jennie" she did the same as Rosé.
"Jennie..." She repeated smiling "have a great night, Jennie"
Since the day Rose talked to her she found herself not only going to see the girl but to enjoy her new friend's company. She would sometimes sit with her and talk when there were close to none costumers.
She apparently didn't have many friends either since she moved from Australia two months ago and felt relieved when they started talking.
"I tried to become friends with Jimin but we didn't really have anything in common and Lisa is too occupied learning kpop choreographies to actually talk to me" she explained "she does actually talk with this girl who seems to be her friend and stuff but i've never talked to her" Jennie nodded and sipped her hot chocolate, she eventually got bored of the americano and replaced It with hot chocolate "what about you?"
"I came a week ago, after my parents did because i wanted to have some days with my friends back in America, i'm from New Zealand but i've been living there for at least five years" Jennie said remembering her friends back in the states "since my korean is so poor i really had a hard time communicating with people" she sipped her drink again, taking a rest from the explanation "when you talked to me in english i really felt thankful, i need help here"
"Hmm i understand, i'll be happy to help you, Jennie" she said friendly before a sound of broken cups interrupted the talk.
"NAMJOON WHAT THE" a male voice said from the kitchen annoyed.
"YAH IT WAS AN ACCIDENT KIHYUN" another voice was heard trying to defend himself. Jennie saw how Lisa immediately went to see the mess they've created.
Rosé sighed "if you need any help just call me, ok? I have to go" she said while standing up and walking to the inside of the workers only zone.
"But i don't have-" she stopped when she realized what Rosé gave her, It was a napkin with her phone number written on it.
The shop's door suddenly opened, showing the beautiful girl that Jennie had seen the first day she came into Seoul.
She looked stunning, as always.
She didn't notice how Jennie kept looking at her from her table and went to the counter. Jennie saw how Lisa went to attend her, they shared smiles and some jokes. Part of Jennie was slightly jealous, she wanted her to be as close to her as she was with Lisa, the other part felt spoiled, she was seeing her smile and hearing her laugh. It was funny how the girl always managed to be the one asking for what she'd like and bringing It to her, just like how Rosé was always the only one who would talk to her.
Sometimes she wished she could be Lisa, simply talking to her as if she knew her since day one but unfortunately she wasn't, and her shyness wasn't going to let her do It anyway.
Jennie stared at her crush but didn't even notice how obvious she was being, she has never been like this, she had always been the type of person to act discreet (except when something really surprising happens).
She was being careless, she made her careless.
