"i think you should talk to her, Jennie" Rosé said tired of her friend not giving the first step. She knew It wasn't an easy thing to do but she couldn't stay like this forever.

"But i'm not ready!" She exclaimed "my korean is shit and i bet she doesn't speak english"

"Don't use that as an excuse, Jen, your korean has improved a lot in the two months you've been here" her friend tried to make her realize she wasn't that bad at the lenguage.

"But-"

"No buts, go talk to your crush, Kim Jennie" Jennie didn't even try to complain, she knew Rosé wouldn't leave her alone until she did what she was told.

"Ok..." She stood up, clearly nervous, but managed to go the middle of the shop "i hate you, Rosé"

"You love me, now go" she ordered her friend.

Jennie stood there for a moment, thinking about what she was about to do, was she really going to talk to her? Apparently she was. Jennie took a deep breath and kept walking toward the girl. She then sat in front of her, without saying a word.

The girl looked confused and kind of uncomfortable, or at least that's what Jennie thought.

"Hello?" She said in korean.

"Hi.." Jennie answered in korean too, with her english accent on point.

"Do i know you?" Jennie gulped, she didn't know what to say next, she obviously didn't know her. Or did she?

"No..."

"Oh... What are you doing here with me then?" The girl asked kindly, making Jennie's heart best faster.

"Uhm... I..." Jennie tried to communicate herself in korean but words wouldn't come out.

"You...?"

"I... I'm new here and uhm... I thought you could help me...?" She said, not convinced by her half lie.

"Oh, yeah of course" the girl answered smiling brightly, a smile that melted Jennie's heart "i've seen you a lot in the shop latey though... Are you sure you're new here?"

Jennie's eyes opened in surprise for two reasons: her half lie has been caught and she knows she's been there for some time, which means she's noticed her.

"Well... Uhm..." The american couldn't find the words to talk once again.

Rosé seemed to understand the situation Jennie was at stood up with one thing un mind: help her friend.

"Jennie!" Rosé called in english from the counter with the phone on her hand "It's for you!"

Her friend turned to ser her confused, who would call her at this hour? She went to answer the call anyway, just in case.

"Hello?" She said, no one replied but Rosé did giggle a bit "Someone there?" She asked again, still no response.

She then looked at the dyed red head, who was trying really hard not to laugh. Then she realized, the phone wasn't even plugged in.

"You bit-"

"Shush, you should be thankful, you were having a really hard time back there with miss Beautiful" she said, cutting Jennie mid sentence.

"True... It was your idea anyway" she attacked back

"But you were the one who couldn't even answer her, at least you talked to her, Jen" Rosé gave her friend a small pat on her back and smiled softly, she knew It wasn't an easy task for Jennie.

"Yeah..." Replied Jennie, still a bit angry at the waitress for her small but useful prank.

"Cheer up, i bet you'll have more oportunities" Rosé said, trying to make her friend feel better.

"You think so?" She questioned, not believing her. Jennie knew she had already made a fool of herself in front of the girl but she still hoped she had another talk with her, maybe she could explain herself.

"Of course!" The red head smiled again "you're an amazing girl and i think that knows that, and i can always ask Lisa for a favour, she owes me some" a smirk appeared in her lips, showing how willing she was to use that favour.

"I won't ask what she asked you to do, i don't want to know" Jennie said before Rosé could even mention what It was about.

"Ok but just take that into account, Lisa and her seem to be really close" Rosé pointed out making Jennie look at both of them who were now talking together.

"Ok... Thank you, Rosé"

"Anything for my best friend"
