EP 05.: Hope Not

Jennie decided not to go to the shop for a week at least, she was really embarrassed by her actions from that day. She hid her face behind her pillow even though no one except her was in her apartment. She really tried but she ended up making a fool of herself in front of her crush.

Great.

Rosé, being the supportive friend she was, called her over and over to se how she was but she never answered. Jennie felt kind of bad for not answering but she couldn't help It, her own actions bothered her. She didn't even talk in the group chat with her friends back in America.

That made her think, what would be the girl thinking about her? If she even remembered her, Jennie hoped not. She wanted to try again, to fix her first impression but she didn't believe that would be possible.

The phone rang for what seemed to be the tenth time since she woke up this morning and it started to annoy her so she picked It up.

"Rosé?" She asks with her phone next to her ear.

"Finally, i've been calling you like crazy" she says from wherever she was.

"I know" Jennie responded, sitting on her bed with her pillow in her arms.

"You've been ignoring me? I wasn't expecting that from you, Kim Jennie, not now that your future girlfriend is asking for you" Rosé said, obvious movement going in the coffee shop from the background noise.

Jennie frowned confused "Who?"

"Your future girlfriend" her friend repeated, Jennie still confused "you know, your crush"

The american's eyes opened in surprise, what did she mean she was asking for her? It didn't make sense to Jennie, she was thinking about the possibile reasons why she was asking for her but none came to her head.

"Why would she-" Jennie was about to ask when she hear a voice from the other side, and It wasn't Rosé's.

"Can i talk to her now?" The feminine voice said in korean. Jennie's heart melted once again, It was her, she wanted to talk to her.

"Yeah, wait a sec, Jisoo" Rosé replied in perfect korean to the girl. Jennie thought her name was as beautiful as she was.

"Jennie?" Rosé said again "Jisoo wants to talk to you" she informed even though It was obvious she did.

"I-i..." Jennie stuttered. She didn't want the other day to repeat itself.

"Shhh, calm down, she's really nice and wants to get to know you" the worker explained and gave the phone to the korean girl.

"Hello" said Jisoo in english with a really cute accent that made Jennie's heart jump.

"Hi" said Jennie shyly.

"You are the girl from the other day, right?" She asked, having obvious problems choosing the words.

"Yeah"

"Oh nice! Are you ok?" She asked again, concern in her voice.

"Yes, why are you asking?" 

Jisoo stopped talking for a bit and said something in korean but sliently enough so that Jennie couldn't hear It. She then heard Rosé say something.

"You didn't come to the shop in a long time" Jisoo explained "i was worried"

"You were?" Jennie was confused, how could she be worried  about a girl she just met?

"Yes, i didn't see you this week" Rosé's voice was heard again in the background "i always saw you in the coffee shop but this week you weren't here so i got worried"

Jennie couldn't bare this. Her crush, who she thought didn't know about her existence, just told her she got worried about her because she didn't go to the shop. Her cheeks started to become redder and redder. She hid her face, once again, behind her pillow, this time she let out a small scream.

"Jennie?" Jisoo's voice was heard from Jennie's phone. She said her name which made her let another scream. It sounded so cute they way Jisoo pronounced her name "are you ok?"

She took her phone, she was going to try to keep the conversation going wether she was blushing or not "Yeah"

"Are you sure?" She asked again "we heard you scream" she added after a bit and Rosé's voice sounding again.

"Y-yeah" Jennie answered stuttering.

"Can you come tomorrow? I want to see you..." Jisoo admited with her cute accent.

"Y-yeah, of course..." Jennie accepted, still not believing her crush's words

"Great!" Her voice sounded happy after hearing the american's words "see you later then!"

"Yeah... Bye Jisoo" Jennie said, receiving another bye from the korean and immediately ended the call. She just talked to her crush and didn't fuck up.

Her heart was going crazy, it started going crazy when she learnt that Jisoo wanted to talk to her but now, after hearing her voice say her name and saying she got worried because of her, she felt as if her chest was about to explode.

"What are you doing to me, Jisoo?" She asked even though she knew her crush couldn't hear her. Jennie went back to her 'hiding behind the pillow' positions and, once again, let out a small scream.
