no matter where we are, no matter what season
if we're together, it feels like summer

It was raining. Again. Minho was sick of these April showers. He wasn't that much of a fan of the warm temperatures of summer, the orange leaves of autumn or the snow of winter either, but he had a special dislike for spring. His sneakers weren't good enough to survive walking through puddles and water somehow made his jacket smell like a wet dog, even if that didn't make any sense, considering that his mother was allergic to fur and he never had a pet before. Well, except for the frog that he saved from his backyard once when he was a kid. One of its legs was broken and it didn't take long before it went from being half dead to completely dead.
Minho sprinted the rest of the way to the bus stop, stepped under the small roof and let out a deep sigh. His light brown hair was damp from the rain and drops of water were covering his cheeks. His breath was a little heavy because of the run from his house that was just around the corner and he barely managed to jump back in time to get away from a car that just drove by and splashed him with water. That was when he accidentally bumped against her.
Togun was standing in the very back of the small bus stop and listening to music. Earphones were stuck in her ears and her gaze was focused on the screen of her phone. Minho felt his cheeks reddening in embarrassment when she looked up towards him and he mumbled a quiet apology for accidentally bumping in to her. She continued staring at him with a strange expression that he didn't really understand and he lowered his head. It seemed like she was expecting him to continue talking, but he didn't know what to say. Raindrops were gently falling down on the roof of the bus stop, the air smelled like wet grass and the awkwardness of their silence was making his skin crawl and his heart beat faster.
Why did I say no when my mother asked to drive me to school this morning?!
The shame of arriving to school in her fruit and vegetable delivery truck is still better than being stuck in this awkward situation.
Maybe I should take my phone out too?
Grab my earphones and pretend to be listening to music?
That usually helps for when I want to ignore people, but I feel like in this situation, it's just going to make me look like a jerk.
Minho still took his phone from his pocket, but instead of grabbing his earphones, he found himself staring at the icon of the Friendbot app. He nervously gulped and glanced towards Togun. Luckily, she wasn't watching him anymore. Looking at her now, he could barely believe what happened to him yesterday. She was almost too different from the girl who popped up out of nowhere when he downloaded the strange app. The distant expression in her eyes, could barely compare to the bright and slightly clueless gaze of Togun 2. Even if they were essentially the same eyes. Down to every detail, even the specks of melted gold that they both had scattered around their pupils.
He thought about deleting the Friendbot app, but something stopped him from doing so. He wasn't sure what exactly it was, but the same thing made him click on it again, even if he knew that it would probably be better to leave it alone. He couldn't deny that he was the tiniest bit curious about the twenty-two notifications that he got from it. He was wondering what they could even be about, but as soon as the tip of his finger touched the icon for the app, it happened again.
