Episode 7: Brace The Storm

A hurricane rips through Atlanta and everyone seeks shelter. Alex confronts Derek over his secrets. Star deals with the press surrounding her song. Simone and Ayanna try to handle Dominic's arrival. Noah becomes protective over his father. Carlotta and Randall get stuck in a tight situation.

It's night time in Paris and Derek is asleep on his side of the bed. Alex is shaking him to wake him up.

"Baby wake up." She says as if she was in a hurry.

"What is it? What's wrong?" He sits up and his hand go immediately to her stomach.

"I felt the baby kicked."

"Wait really?"

" Yeah give me your hand." She takes his hand and puts it on the lower part of her stomach. He feels a little poke against his hand.

"Wow that's really a baby in there."

"Yeah." Alex is smiling so hard at the moment and she started to cry.

"Baby don't cry." He says wiping her eyes.

"I'm just so happy."

"Come here." He pulls her close to him. "We gonna be alright. All three of us. I know you're scared about going back but we got each other. This baby is going to have so much love and we're gonna have a beautiful baby."

"We are?"

"Yeah we are. I love you."

"I love you too." She kisses him and he holds her in his arms as their kiss turned passionate.

Derek is on the phone in the living room calling different people trying to find Alex. It was nine in the morning and he hasn't slept since. Star and Simone walk in the house.

"She's not at the salon or the apartment. Cotton and Bruce are out looking for her." Simone says as she set down her keys.

"What happened?" Star asks.

"I just came home and she was gone."

"She didn't leave a note or nothing?" Star asks.

"No and she won't answer her phone." He says, not telling them about Alex finding out about his drinking.

"Well she couldn't have gotten far. Was it something with her mom?" Simone asks.

"No they were all good when she left."

"Well something must have triggered her to make her wanna leave."

"I don't know where she is. She's got the baby and no car. What if something bad happened?" Derek says in a panic.

"We're gonna find her Derek. You go upstairs and take a shower. We'll go out looking for her." Star says as she tried to calm him down. He goes upstairs as Star walks over to the couch to sit down.

"Why would she leave?"

"I don't know but I don't think he telling us everything."

"He just said he didn't know."

"I can spot a liar. There must have been something to make her wanna leave." She gets up and goes into the kitchen to see the empty bottles on the counter.

"What the hell is this?" Star says as they walked to it. Simone picks up the note Alex left.

"Think this may be the reason."
