Star Season 4

Episode 2: No More Funerals

In Part 2 of the season opener, the death toll of shooting has everyone hungry for revenge. Alex and Derek make a decision about their family. Star takes action to protect the family and Noah deals with his own family drama. Simone alienates herself from the family. Carlotta and Rashad make amends.

Derek is under his Ruby's car fixing the tire rotator when he sees a pair of feet walk next to him. He recognized the pointed toe heels and slides from under it to see his pregnant wife standing in front of him holding her bump.

"Hey big momma." He says as he sat up.

"Call me that again and I'll put you back in that wheelchair."

"How's nemo doing?" He says touching her belly.

"Little beanie's been kicking all morning. Hopefully we get to see what he it she is today. Keeping its legs closed everytime we check."

"Well if I'm right that it's a girl, than she better keep em closed." He says as he stood up. He kisses his wife and felt the baby kick against his stomach. "Woah was that her?"

"Yeah that was HIM."

"You still betting on a boy?"

"I'm not getting, I know it's a boy."

"Well we'll know when we go over today. Let me just wash up amd change my shirt."

"I'll wait for you inside." Alex waddled back inside the house as Derek put the tire back together. He grabs the plate and he hears two gunshots. He gets up and runs inside the house.

"ALEX!!!"

"BABY" He hears her crying voice and runs through the house to try and find her. He keeps hearing and he runs to the bedroom and the living room but can't find her.

"BABY wake up. Baby, Baby."

He opens his eyes and he sees Alex's face. Her face is drained of tears and she's in a sweatshirt and jeans. He sees he's in a hospital bed hooked to an IV.

"How'd I get here?"

"You were having a panic attack and they had to sedate you to calm you down."

"Is she really gone?" He asks her and her face starts to tear up again.

"She's not coming back baby." She touches his face and he starts to cry. She moves over and lays next to him and held him in her arms as he cried into her shoulder.

Star is holding Davis's hand while the doctor checks him out. Noah stood behind her holding her shoulder to keep her calm.

"Everything looks fine. No internal injuries, no scars or signs of possible illness."

"He's really okay?" Noah says.

"He's perfectly healthy. We want to keep him overnight for observation."

"Thank You doctor." Star says as she kissed Davis's head.

"I'll be back to check on you guys later." The doctor walks out the room and they both exhale in relief.

"Thank God he's okay." Star says looking at their son. "I'm never letting him out my site again."

"Star, what happened down there?"

"I already told you what happened?"

"You have that worried look in your face." He sits down next to her. "You were defending yourself. My mom's gonna be fine. You ain't going back to jail."
