Chapter twenty-four

(It'll mostly always be Kc's POV unless I say it's Zion's, so always assume it's Kc from now on)

The show ends and I meet up with the boys backstage. They were yelling and running around because of how hyped they were. Nick and Zion hopped in the shower, leaving me, Austin, Brandon, and Edwin.
"How'd you like the show, K?" Brandon asks me once they settled down.
"It was really good, especially that first song. Tell me Brandon, who wrote that song" I say crossing my arms.
Edwin chokes on his water.
"That was her song?" Edwin asks.
"Kc wrote lying?" Austin asks at the same time as Ed.
"Yup. Why didn't you at least ask me to use it?" I say.
"I thought it wasn't that big of a deal" he says.
"Not that big of a deal? Brandon I poured my heart out onto that song" I tell him.
"I mean you only wrote part of it. Me and Edwin wrote the rest!" He says. "So technically it's our song"
"Technically it still hurts that you never asked" I say. "That song was really personal"
"I'm sorry, Kc. I know now. I promise it won't happen again" Brandon says.
"Thank you" I say. "But I gotta admit, it is kinda cool to hear it preformed by you guys"
"Really? Wouldn't it be weird that the guy singing it is the guy you wrote it about" Edwin asks.
"You wrote Z's part, I only wrote your part, Austin's, and Nick's" I say.
Zion gets out of the shower, so I go outside with him to meet fans. They all screamed as they see Zion walk out. He takes his phone out to record them. I stand off to the side, to avoid getting in his way.
"KC! Can I get a picture?" A girl from the crowd says. She causes everyone to instantly look my way. Suddenly many girls were calling my name.
"You want a picture? With me?" I say. They laugh. I take pictures and talk to them.
Zion comes up to me and takes pictures with the people I was talking to. They obviously liked talking to Zion better.
"Someone get a picture of me and Kc" he says as he puts his arms around me. We pose for the picture.
"Awww" they said as their cameras flashed.
"Aye don't get any ideas, Ight? Because me and Kc are just friends, right K?" He says.
"I see myself more with Edwin If anything tbh" I say. His smile fades and he glares at me.
"KIDDING. I'm just their assistant! I'm not dating any of them!" I say seriously.
"Okay we gotta go! I LOVE ALL OF YALL!" He said as we walked away.
We hop onto the bus and see alcohol being poured.
"Aye! To the first day of tour" Edwin says handing us drinks. Zion drinks it quickly and grabs another shot.
"Nah thanks" I say handing my cup to Zion.
"Aw Cmon Kc, have a little fun" Brandon says.
"Last time I drank, I ended up being a hot mess. I don't wanna end up writing another heartbreak song" I whisper to Brandon.
"Aw but that heartbreak song was such a banger" he says. I playfully punch him.
I head to the back of the bus and change into an oversized sweatshirt, shorts, and some long checkered socks from Vans.
I spend the rest of the night watching stranger things when I get a notification.
