Chapter twenty-six

I wake up to Zion shaking me.
"What does your headass want now?" I say rubbing my eyes.
"Can you make me some tea?" He says. "I have a fat hangover"
I groan and get up to make his tea. I start to boil water and cut up ginger.
Once the tea was ready I pour into a mug and hand it to him.
"Thanks, K" He smiles.
"It has ginger in it so it'll also help your vocal chords" I say sitting next to him.
"Z?"
"Yeah"
"Do you remember anything from last night?" I ask. His eyes wander around the room, then he shakes his head.
"No, not really" he takes a sip of his tea. "Why? What'd I do?"
"Oh nothing! You just came and bothered me while I was trying to watch stranger things" I laugh.

We spent the rest of the day being tourists since I have never been to Texas. Around 9:30, we wind up at our hotel we are staying in for the night. Brandon and Nick shared one room while Edwin, Austin, and Zion share another. I get my own room. We all hang out in Edwins room before we had to go to bed.
"Zion can you please put fortnite down and actually hang out with us for once?" I say snatching his controller away from him.
"Kc!" He whines. "I could've won that round, and I had eight kills!"
"What's your guys favorite song to preform?" I ask them completely ignoring Zion.
"Oh! 4u for sure!" Edwin says.
"Eh I like 10k hours just because of how hyped everyone gets" Austin says with a mouth full of pizza.
"Nah, phases is where it's at" Nick says.
"Yes! I agree with Nick" Zion says.
"I like all of them" Brandon giggles. "What about you, K?"
"Hmm I like lying" I say. "It's the first song so y'all are hella hyped and it just looks cool"
"Like when the curtain drops and Brandon starts singing, yeah that's hella dope" Austin adds. I hop on the bed and drop a blanket mimicking the curtain drops.
"Sorry to call you," I sing.
"So unexpected" Brandon adds.
"It's PrettyMuch" Zion yells.
"Thought you'd be sleeping I was gonna leave a message" Austin sings.
"In case you're wondering, I'm counting blessings" Edwin sings hopping onto the bed next to me.
"Just bought this California king and it's expensive" Nick sings quietly.
"Haven't picked a side yet, hardly sleep" me and Zion sing. "I've been going out"
"Oh yeah oh yeah" we all say.
"You did me a favor, honestly" Edwin sings holding a water bottle as his 'microphone'.
"I'm so much better now" Brandon sings with a run at the end of it.
"BUT IM LYING" we all scream as we we all jumped around. "WHEN I TALK TO YOU, CAUSE YOURE LYING UNDER SOMEONE NEW, AND IM DYING, WANNA TELL THE TRUTH, IM NOT OH IM NOT OH IM NOT OVER YOU"
We get interrupted by a knock at the door. Edwin opens it and we see a bellboy.
"Hi, we just got a call that your room has been a bit too rowdy and we were wondering if you could just tone it down a bit" he smiled.
"Uh yeah of course" Edwin says closing the door. We look at each other in shocked silence.
"I see them pictures" nick whispers. "From your vacation"
"You look so happy holding hands, congratulations" we all whisper. We all die from laughter.
"Hate to break the fun, but we should get to bed" Brandon says checking the time. "See y'all tomorrow"
Him and nick leave the room.
"Yeah I should get going too, see yaaa" I say.
"Goodnight, Kc" Zion says with the cutest smile. Something about his smile was different. I don't know how to explain it but it just was. I head to my room and hop in the shower. It was around 10:50 when I got out. I change into an old t-shirt Zion gave me and some shorts. I finally lay down when I see a notification light up my phone.
