"So, I think it's safe to say we can rule out nessy." Sam said, walking into the motel room where Dean and Aledis were previously bickering in.

"Oh man, I was rooting for nessy." Aledis jokingly  commented.

"What do you mean?" Dean asked Sam, completely ignoring Aledis' 'nessy' comment. By then it became habit, from both.

"I just drove past the Carlton house." He explained sitting down next to Dean, "There was an ambulance there. Will Carlton is dead."

Aledis stood to face Sam, "He drowned?" She asked, crossing her arms and frowning.

"Yep, in the sink."

Aledis raised her eyebrows in concern, mentally questioning the list of monsters capable of this.

"What the hell?" Dean piped in, "So you're right, this isn't a creature we're dealing with something else."

"Yeah, but what?" Sam asked, exasperatedly

"I don't know. A water wraith, maybe? Some kind of demon?" The hairs in Aledis' neck stood at the idea of a demon, what they are capable of doing and what one has done. But she didn't want to disrupt the Winchesters peace in ignorance. "Hey! Princess mind helping as well as staring at the wall?" He complained, snapping her out of her detour.

"Erm..Well it's something that controls water," She paused thinking, "water from the same source-"

"The lake," Aledis nodded, agreeing, "which would explain why it's upping the body count. The lake is draining, it will be dry in a few months."

"Whatever this thing is, whatever it wants, it's running out of time." Aledis stated, sharing the same light with Sam.

"And if it can get through the pipes, it can get to anyone almost anywhere. This is gonna happen again, soon." Dean stood up looking at Aledis dead in the eye and slowly shifted past her,  sitting on the chair at her right. Not breaking his stare, not once.

"And we do know one other thing for sure. We know that this has something to do with Bill Carlton." Sam said.

"Yeah, it took his kids." She joined, feeling eyes being peeled away from her. Confusing her in why they were even on her, was it curiosity? Or, mistrust?

"And I've been asking around. Lucas' dad, Chris- Bill Carlton's godson." He informed, staring straight at both other hunters.

"Let's go pay Mr. Carlton a visit." Dean ordered as he stood, walking towards the door. Ignoring his previous strong focus on her appearance and expressions.

The broken man sat staring at the lake that took his daughter, and that had maybe also taken his son.

"Mr. Carlton?"

The man turned his head to face the three hunters, unfazed, them all walking up slowly and holding the same empathetic look, well most.

"We'll like to ask you some questions, if you don't mind." Sam politely informed the man.

"We're from the department-"

"I don't care who you're with," Dean swayed awkwardly in place at the man's interruption, "I've answered enough questions today." He stated lowly.

"Your son said he saw something in that lake," The girl piped in, careless of her tone or reaction, "What about you?  You ever see anything out there?"

"Mr. Carlton, Sophie's drowning and Will's death-" Sam calmly said, stepping in front of the girl, "We think there might be a connection. To you or your family."
