General POV
Franki was sitting beside Diana. They are watching Stranger Things in her living room. But she can't help but stare with the woman beside her. Her stealing glaces to Diana. Hindi na nga nya masyadong maintindihan ang pinapanood dahil mas nag f focus pa sya sa katabi.
"Diana" tawag nya sa dalaga.
"Hmmm? What is it?"
"What do you do?" Kaswal na tanong ni Franki.
"Sitting" pa pilosopong sagot nito sa kaibigan, dahilan upang mapairap si Franki na ikinatawa naman nya. "I'm a police officer"
"What?!" Nagulat na sigaw ni Franki. Hindi lubos akalain ni Franki na pulis pala si Diana. She thought she was a model or a flight attendant or a engineer or a CEO maybe. But her, being a police officer is far from her imagination.
"Relax" nakangiting sambit ni Diana.
"If you're a police, then what are you doing here?" Takang tanong ni Franki na matiim na pinag m masdan si Diana.
Kanina nya pa akong tinititigan, My gosh Franki, what are you doing? Usal ni Diana sa isipan nya. Alam naman nya na hindi masyadong nanonood si Franki at sya lang ang inaatupag na titigan ng kaibigan.
"Stop staring at me!" Kunwaring naiinis na sambit nya sa dalagang katabi nya.
"Why? You're so beautiful, Dayanuh! Akin ke leng" nakangising usal nito. "Am I not allowed to stare at my girlfriend?" Nakapout na tanong nito sa kanya.
"You're always doing that to me!"
"Cause I love how beautiful you are and I love the thought that you are mine"
"It's not just a thought. It's reality"
"Lucky girl!" Sabay niyakap sya nito at pinaulanan ng halik sa buong mukha.
"Diana?" Nakakunot noong tanong usal ni Franki sa kanya.
"Yes Franki?" Napatitig sya sa kaibigan.
"You're a little bit off" sabi ni Franki. "You haven't answered my question"
"I just want to unwind. So I did file my leave" inuunat nya ang mga binti at ipinatong sa lamesa.
"Oh, you should be somewhere here in the Philippines, like go to beaches or---"
"I just like to be here" sagot ni Diana na nakatitig sa mga mata ni Franki.
What's with her? She seems devouring my soul the way she stares at me. Usal ni Franki sa isipan nya.
"Really, So when I saw you last night or this morning what are you doing there?"
"I was about to go home cause I had a coffee in El Café Bibliotheca"
"I love their Coffee" Franki said. "And Jassie is a good friend of mine"
"The owner?" Kunot noong tanong ni Diana.
"Yeap. She always giving me free coffee" nakangiting sambit ni Franki.
"Oh I just saw her twice" sagot naman ni Diana. "But she's not my friend"
"I will introduce you to her some other time" excited na sambit ni Franki kay Diana.
