When Two Collide (Twilight x Percy Jackson Fanfic)

Chapter 5

Bella POV:

I remembered school as a fun-ish experience but now, ugh I'm gonna have to get used to it. I can't run fast or read fast and I have to endure an hour and fifteen minutes of disgusting smelling human food, oh and did I mention that control is a lot harder when there are hundreds of humans around you. 

However, there was something that even made Edward a little bit worried: The other two new kids. Samantha and Charlie were their names and there was just something off about them. 

When we finally got home everyone went their separate ways, Rose and Emmett went to their house, Alice and Jasper went hunting and Renesmee and Jacob went to their house a few miles from ours so Edward and I could talk in private.

"Hey, so what did you think of the new kids?" I ask Edward. "See the thing is, I don't really know," he replies. 

"What do you mean?" I say.

"Well, it's not like I couldn't hear them its that their voices were muffled as if their brains were underwater. They also didn't smell like a normal human being." 

"So who, or what are they? And can they hurt us or do they know our secret?" I questioned him.

"Well, when the one that was in our class, Charlie I think his name was, he was talking to his older sister and the entrance to the cafeteria at lunch as I swear they were talking in some weird foreign language or something."  He answered.

"We need to have a family meeting about this now," I say

"Yes, we really should" He answers.

I get my phone and text Renesmee and Jacob because Alice will hopefully know about this already.

As the family walked into the living room in the main house I felt a chill over my shoulder, I ignored it hoping it was nothing. 

"Okay I called this family meeting in light of some events that happened at school today" Edward announced. 

I told everyone the story.

"So they looked normal, they acted normal and were normal high schoolers apart from the fact that they smelt weird and Edward couldn't properly hear their thoughts, correct?" Carlisle asked.

"Oh, they also spoke in some foreign language that no one could understand," Renesmee added.

"That truly throws us for a loop then, for the life of me I can't figure out where these children come from," Carlisle said.

"What are their names again Edward?" Esme asked.

"Oh umm, Samantha and Charlie Jackson," Edward replied.

At the sound of the name Charlie, I got a wistful look in my eyes. I really missed my dad, this is the only downside to being a vampire I guess, I can't see my father ever again. I'm also losing my memories of him every day.

Annabeth POV:

It was nice to send the kids to school, it meant that Percy and I got some time to unpack and talk. 

For the 6 hours the kids were at school Percy and I reminisced on our demigod days in high school.

Finally, when the kids came home from school they rushed into us and I assumed they were going to tell us all about their first day at school but instead...

"There are vampires at our school" Sam uttered

"Real-life vampires" Charlie repeated.

I thought we were safe here, I looked to Percy worry in my eyes.

"It's okay we'll live and we'll make this into a positive... somehow" Percy reassured me.

Somehow I wasn't so sure...

Ayyyy, look who's alive!

Sorry, I've been gone so long but I kind of broke my finger playing netball when I was in the middle of writing this chapter. I had to have two surgeries and I just haven't been bothered to write anything as my hand was hurting or it was in a massive plaster cast. Hopefully, I'll get back to writing regularly again but in the future just thank my great friend AzzeyB because even if I don't see her that much she is still there forcing me to write (which is what happened all afternoon today). Anyway, thank you for sticking by me and for almost 500 reads! I love you all soo much!!
