I woke up and saw Caiti still sleeping. I got up and walked downstairs quietly trying not to wake Caiti up. I wanted to do something special for her. I grabbed stuff to make her breakfast. I finished making breakfast and set the table with two places. I grabbed my phone and took a picture of the breakfast I made.

I go upstairs wake up Caiti. "Caiti it's time to get up" I say lightly shaking her. "No it's to early" she said putting the blankets over her head. "Come on Caiti, I have something to show you". I say pulling back the covers kissing her forehead. I finally got her up and downstairs.
I stood behind her with my hands over her eyes. I took my hand away and stood by her. She walked over to the table and turned around and "Aw Finn" she said hugging me. We walked to the table and started eating.
Neither of us were talking for awhile so I tried starting a conversation. "How did you sleep" I asked "Fine" she replied quickly. She put her plate in the sink and walked back upstairs. I didn't know what was wrong with her, she wasn't being herself. I walked upstairs to her a sitting on her the bed looking at her phone. I sat down next to her. She didn't look at me at all. She was just staring at her phone. She didn't say anything to me for a while. I kept looking at her to see if I could see something wrong.
~Caiti~
Finn made me breakfast this morning. It was nice but I didn't really feel good, I didn't know why. I didn't say anything and I walked upstairs to lay down. After a few minutes Finn came up and sat next to me. Finn kept looking over at me for some reason. My stomach was hurting, got up to get an ibuprofen. I started to get up and felt something and immediately sat back down. Shit I started my period. "Finn get out" I gulped. "What's wrong Caiti" Finn asked sounding concerned . "Nothing" I responded. "Caiti I'm serious, what's wrong" he spoke, "You wouldn't understand Finn" I raised my voice. "Cait.." he started as I interrupted. "Finn just get out" I sigh. He started to walk away. I lifted up my blanket starting to get up. My remote fell off my bed making a loud noise. Finn turned around as I was standing up. He looked down at my bed and then back up at me.
"Ugh this is so embarrassing" I say putting my head in my hands. "Why are you embarrassed" Finn asked walking towards me. "What do you mean why Finn" I said trying not to cry. "Hey it's okay, I'll clean this up, and you can shower and get freshened up" he said smiling.
"Ugh, I'm sorry" I said wiping a tear away. "Caiti stop, it happens to everyone" he wiping my tear with his thumb. "It means your growing up" he said chuckling. "Oh god Finn" I said giggling. "There's that smile" he said pinching my cheek. "Do you need anything, like pads or something" he said kind of awkwardly. "Shit I don't have anything" I ranted. "Its fine, take your shower and I'll do the rest" he replied smiling, I smiled back.
I grabbed a change of clothes and I walked to the bathroom turning on the shower. While it was heating up I went to get a towel and got in.
~Finn~
I took the sheets of the bed and through them into the washer. I wanted to surprised Caiti but I didn't want to just leave. I knocked on the door "I'll be right back" I yelled so she would hear me over the shower. "Okay" she yelled back.
I didn't think she would mind so I grabbed her keys and went to the store. I didn't know what to get so I looked it up. I got pads and Midol. I grabbed pop corn, candy and a teddy bear.
I got back to Caiti's and she was still in the shower. I put the sheets in the dryer and grabbed the other set in the closet. I made the bed and I set out the Teddy bear, the candy and one of my hoodies on the bed. I opened the door slightly and handed her the box of pads and the Medicine. She quickly grabbed it and shut the door.
She finally came out to see me sitting in her bed next to the stuff I got her. "Aw Finn, whats all this for" she said hugging me. "Just because" I answered. I set her candy on the bedside table so she could lay down.
"Your such a good..." she started. "Wait what are we Finn" she asked confused. "What do you mean" I ask. "We aren't just friends and I don't think we are a thing, so what are we" she says responded. "I don't know, not a thing...yet" I answered. "Yet" She giggled. I shrugged with a small smile.
a few weeks later
~Caiti~
The past few weeks with Finn have been amazing. I wanted to do something special but I didn't know what. I wanted to ask Finn to be my boyfriend but I didn't know how. I was thinking of ways to do it but none of them were good.
"Whatcha thinking about" Finn said "Huh oh nothing" I smiled feeling my cheeks turn rosy. Finn had a shoot today and asked me to go with him. We got dressed and ready and the Uber picked us up. We finally arrived there and walked in. A bunch of people greeted Finn on our way in. We walked over to Finn's manager as they started a conversation, "and who might this be" his manager asked catching us off guard. I looked at Finn.
"Uh-Um this this is my girlfriend Caiti" he answered stuttering. "Oh" he winked at Finn. "Well it's Nice to meet you Caiti" he said shaking my hand. "You too" I respond as we walked away. I looked at him, he glanced back at me awkwardly "Girlfriend" I questioned. "Sorry, I didn't know what else to say" he shrugged as we sat down at a table. I short blonde lady handed us to waters. "I like being introduced as your 'girlfriend' " I say putting up air quotes.
"You don't have be my 'girlfriend' " he said putting up air quotes.
~Finn~
"You don't have be my 'girlfriend' " I said putting up air quotes. "Huh" she says choking on her water. "I don't know I was..." I started getting interrupted by manager. "It's time for your shoot Finn" I smiled at Caiti and walked to my shoot.
