~Caiti~

I looked down at my phone checking the time. "Ugh I have to go" I sighed grabbing my purse from the couch. "When are you coming home" Finn frowned. "Late" I frowned back. "You always come home late" he pouted. I walked over to him putting my hands around his neck.

"How about every time I come home late and your asleep I'll wake you up in a special way" I smirked. Finn smirked, "How about you stay at work as long as you want" he joked pulling me in kissing me. "Can you guys not" Sadie said rolling her eyes. We laughed, "Bye" I laughed. Finn and Sadie waved.

a week later

~Finn~

Today was me and Caiti's one year anniversary. Caiti had work and wouldn't be home until 5 so we would have dinner when she got home. I had a shoot and would be back til about 4:30, so Sadie was the only one home.

I grabbed my keys getting in my car. I had to pick up Noah for the shoot. I drove  up to his house honking. He walked outside and got in the car.

We finished the shoot and I dropped Noah back off. It was 4:15 so I went to the store. I got her a bouquet of roses. There was a bunch of traffic so I would get home the same time as Caiti. I finally got home and it was 5:15. I walked in to only see Sadie sitting on the couch. Caiti wasn't home, I grabbed my phone to call her at work. "Hello" she answered. "Hi Baby, when are you coming home" I asked. "Well something came up at work, I'm not gonna have time do go to dinner tonight" she sighed. "Ugh ok" I said hanging up. "What did she say" Sadie asked. "She can't get off work" I sat down on the couch.

"What did she say" I asked. "She said she can't get off work" Finn sighed sitting on the couch next to me. "Well plan a day when she doesn't have work" I suggested.  "I have an idea" Finn shouted, grabbing his phone and keys and running out the door.

I was bored so I invited a friend over. I haven't see her in forever, so I decided to invite her over. She knocked on the door and I opened it. "Hi Jaylie" I shouted hugging her, "I missed you Sadie" she smiled. We sat down on the couch and started talking.

I had an idea so I grabbed my stuff and ran out of the house not saying anything. I got in my car and drove to the store. I went to get stuff for Caiti. I put it into a picnic basket. I got the basket and started driving to Caiti's work. I walked up to her office to surprise her. I walked in the door with the food.

"Hi Caiti" I smiled holding up the bag. "Finn what are you doing here" she asked. "Well I wanted to surprise you" I answered walking towards her "Finn nows not the time" she scoffed. "Well since you wouldn't be home I just.." "Finn I'm stressed out and this isn't helping can we talk about this at home" she said putting her head in her hands. "But" I started, "Finn" Caiti said sternly interrupting me again. "Bye" I sighed sadly, I set the flowers on her desk and left.

I drove home, and walked inside slamming the door. I started walking upstairs. "Finn, what's wrong" Sadie sighed. "I went to surprise Caiti and she told me to leave" I said looking down. I heard a door open. "Oh Finn this is Jaylie by the way" she smiled pointing to a girl.
