a week later

~Caiti~

I woke up at 7:30 this morning for my first day of work. Finn wasn't in bed so I figured he was downstairs some where. I got up walking to my closet putting on what I picked out.

(I don't know what to put her in)

I walked downstairs to find Finn. He was sitting down at the table with two place settings in front of him. I smiled walking over. "Morning" he grinned as I walked to sit down. "You made me breakfast" I smiled. "Of course, todays your big day" he smiled. I nodded nervously.

"Why aren't you eating Caiti, Waffles are your favorite" he tilted his head. "I guess I'm just nervous" I sighed taking a bite of my waffle. He grabbed my hand over the table, "You'll be fine" Finn spoke. "Thanks Finny" I replied, I grabbed my plate putting it in the sink. "Its 8:30 I better get going" I walked over to Finn hugging him. "Bye Baby" he smiled and watched me drive away.

time skip

I walked in the building walking to my section of the offices to see no one except a guy there. I walked by him putting my stuff down on the desk. "Hi you must be Caiti" he smiled. I nodded, "I'm Connor, nice to meet you" he showed a smile.

"Nice to meet you too" I smiled. "Well I work in this division, so we are gonna work together" he said stacking papers. "Okay, so what exactly do we do" I asked shyly. "Right it's your first day, how about I show you around" he said gesturing me to follow him. I nodded and followed him. He gave me a tour of everything I would use or need.

"So can you make me 15 copies of this" he asked reaching into his pocket. "It's key 152" he said handing it to me. I nodded grabbing the paper and heading to the copy room. I walked back with the copies, I handed him the keys and the papers back. "Thank you Caiti" he smiled.

time skip

"Thank you for your help Connor I really appreciate it" I smiled as I grabbed my stuff. "See you tomorrow Caiti" he smiled waving, I waved back walking towards the door. I got in my car driving home. I opened the door to see Finn sitting one the couch. "How was work Caiti" he smiled getting up. "It was really good, my new co worker is really nice" I smiled. "Good baby, what's her name" he asked hugging me. "Oh well his name is Connor" I said looking up at him.

He pulled away from the hug, "Oh his?" He questioned. "Finn there's nothing to worry about" I said reassuring him. He nodded seeming unsure but continued hugging me.

a week later

I walked in the door getting back from work. Finn wasn't downstairs so I walked up to find him. He was taking a nap, I changed quietly getting in next to him. I shook him slightly to wake him up. "5 more minutes mom" he sighed. I giggled to myself, "Finn it's Caiti" I laughed. He turned around to look at me and smiled. "How was work today" he said sitting up. "It was good, Connor is always cracking jokes, but some how we still get our work done" I laughed to myself. "We make a good team huh Finn" I said looking down at my phone. "Also someone is leaving for vacation, so Connor and I get to fill in for her" I smiled. "What's up with this Connor guy, he seems to be all you talk about recently" Finn scoffed. "Oh my god Finn, he's my co worker, we are just friends" I sighed. "Okay...what's do you want to watch" Finn asked changing the subject. "I don't care" I sighed.

later that night

"So Caiti, what are we gonna do for our anniversary" he smiled. "Ugh, I have to work" I frowned. "Well you get off at five so how about we have dinner after you come home" he suggested. I smiled, "Sounds good" I said kissing his cheek. "Can you believe it's been a year already" he grinned. I shook my head, "It felt like just yesterday we went on that camping trip" I said as we both laughed.
