a week later

~Caiti~

Today was the day of the party. Finn and I were just laying in bed. "Are we still going to the party" Finn asked. "If it's okay with you" I replied, he nodded. I smiled getting up. He followed me downstairs to get breakfast. We ate and went back upstairs, to watch Netflix.

a few hours later

"The party starts at 7 right" I asked Finn. "Ya" he nodded. It was almost 6:30 so I got up to get ready. I looked in my closet, "I don't know what to wear" I sighed. "You will look great in anything" he smiled. "Oh and Millie said to bring a bathing suit" he added. Even though it was winter, in LA it was still hot enough to swim. I put on the outfit I picked out and got a swimsuit.

Finn just wore a swim shorts and a T-shirt. I was finally done getting ready. "Finny" I said making him look up from his phone. "Do I look okay" I said unsure. He got up coming towards me "You look beautiful" he said kissing my cheek making me blush. "Are ready to go" he asked. I nodded kissing him. We walked out the door getting in Finn's car. We finally arrived at Millie's.

We got to Millie's, you could here music blasting and people yelling from down the street. We got up to the door. I grabbed Caiti's hand tightly as we walked in. "Hi guys" Millie said inviting us in. "Come get a drink Caiti?" Millie asked. Caiti looked at me I laughed, "Dont get to drunk please" I said kissing her cheek. "I won't" she said gesturing me to kiss her. I kissed her and she walked away with Millie.

later

I went out to the pool to see Caiti sitting alone. I sat down next to her, "Hi" I said. She smiled putting her head on my shoulder. I stood up Caiti standing up with me. "What are you doing" she asked. "Are you gonna jump in with me" I smiled. She shook her head "No the waters cold". "Ur mean" I teased crossing my arms. "Nuh uh" she walked over hugging me.

I picked her up and jumped in the pool with her. "Finn" she yelled as she came back up. She swam to me kissing me. We got out and grabbed towels, I had my arm around her because she was cold. "Caiti come here" Sadie yelled. "Do you mind" she looked at me. "Go ahead" I said smiling.

I looked around and saw Noah and I walked over to him. We just talked for a bit. I got up to find Caiti I looked all over for her but I couldn't find her. I walked over to a slightly drunken Sadie "Do you know where Caiti is" I asked worriedly. "Well she tripped" she paused for a second. "And then she walked upstairs with some guy", "A guy" I raised my voice. "Finn everything will be fine, sit down and I'll find her" she said patting my shoulder, I nodded grabbing a water bottle and sat down.

I had a few drinks and ended up falling I guess I hit my head but I felt fine. A guy helped me up walked me upstairs to one of the bedrooms.  "Maybe you should lay down for a bit" he said. I didn't think anything of it. I walked to a bed and laid down. He locked the door and unbuckled his belt taking off his jeans. I tried to get up but, he came over to me, he pushed me back and got on top of me. "What are you doing" I said panicking. "Don't be scared, it'll be over soon", "Just stay very still" he whispered into my ear. He grabbed something tying it over my mouth. He put his face up to mine pulling up my dress.  I tried screaming, but my mouth covered.

"Just make it easy" he said pinning my hands down. I could feel tears welling in my eyes. He started making out with me. He moved down to my chest and stomach leaving hickeys. He pulled down my swimsuit bottoms slowly.  "Stop" I tried yelling one last time trying. He held my hands down sliding into me.

His hand was causing my screams to be unheard. I tried moving away but he grabbed me. "Shut the fuck up and don't fucking move" he whispered in my ear grabbing my throat. He thrusted into me faster.

"Fuck" he yelled getting off of me. He got up putting his pants on. He walked over to me putting his hand on my throat again. "Tell anyone and your fucking dead" he whispered in my ear.

I laid there for a bit, left with my lifeless feeling body. I sat up putting my swimsuit back on. I hugged my knees crying to myself. I just want my life to be over I thought to myself. I heard the door open making me jump. "Caiti what's wrong" Sadie said running over to me, causing me to cry more.

She pulled me in hugging me. "That guy that came up here with me he" I started, tearing up again. "You can tell me anything Caiti", "He raped me" I said crying. "Holy shit Caiti, let me get Finn" she said getting up. "No" I raised my voice. "Why" she asked confused. "Because he will get mad" I replied back. "Ok but you need to tell him at some point", I nodded.

I got up looking into the mirror. Fixing my dress so it looked normal. I walked out of the room. "Finn's was looking for you" she said pointing downstairs. "Shit" I said to myself walking downstairs. "Where were you" he said sounding kind of mad. "Can we go home" I said trying not to cry. "Okay" he said grabbing his keys out of his pocket. Walking to the car.

We got in the car sitting down "Sadie said she saw you walk upstairs with some guy" he said looking at me angrily. "Oh I fell and I went to lay down, maybe he was going upstairs too" I said trying not to make it obvious I was lying. "Oh okay" he said starting the car. We got home and got into comfy clothes.

~Finn~

We got home and changed into comfy clothes. We got into bed, I went to kissed Caiti, she didn't seem to care. I shrugged and fell asleep.

the next day

I woke up to see Caiti on her phone already. "Good morning baby" I say kissing her cheek. "Hi" she answered quickly. "Are you okay Caiti" I asked grabbing her hand. She looked nervous, "I'm fine" she nodded. "Okay" I said unsure
