The Judge
"What are you trying to do?" He shouts in my hear. I pull against the thick vines that try to cut off my circulation. But it's been too long, and I'm too close to give up now. Every inch forward is a small victory. My feet drag through the snow, as I feel Flowey's strength ebb away.
The cold isn't the best conditions for a plant. Even if it's a demonic flower. I jerk my arm up, and hearing the tear of the vines around my arm, surprised us both. "You better stop that now!" He orders, and I can't help but to notice the hint of fear buried deep within his voice.
And that only made me go faster.
Fighting exhaustion and pain. I knew that moving only a few more yards can possibly get me out of this dilemma. This horrid situation. I can feel Flowey pull back with all of his strength. But I can see the lights illuminating through the windows. I can almost see the people going in and out of Grilby's.
I can see my house.
I push through the snow, vines starting to choke me up. But that doesn't stop me now. I start to make my way down a hill of snow, but soon Flowey pulls at my legs in desperation. But in the attempt to stop me from going forward, he sent us both tumbling down the side of the hill.
My arm twists painfully from beneath me as he tries to get us both up. I was hoping that after that fall, maybe he would have given up. But I shouldn't hope for something that will never happen. I feel the hoodie slip off of one of my shoulders. But the vines grip on too tightly for it to fall off now.
Now we are hidden behind one of the neighboring houses. And mine is just across the street. I thrash against the readjusting vines and am able to get in a few more steps forward. And soon enough, we are standing right in front of the street.
I force my head to crane to the right and left. Hoping for someone to be around. But, nobody came. I have no reasons to why this could happen. But I can assume that any theories would only end up being negative ones.
"Sans, you have to stop!" He whisper-shouts. I ignore him and move into the snow covered road. At this point Flowey is trying everything he can to stop me. But I have enough Determination and desperation to keep inching forward.
I kick myself forward and Flowey does everything to try to prevent me from doing so. Just trying to make it halfway across the road feels as if I am waking through cement. If only I had enough magic to short cut inside. But I had lost my energy when he first got ahold of me.
Standing in the middle of the street, fighting the resistance that is making me go backwards, I look up at the house. I see that the light is on, and someone is inside.
Papyrus.
