After the chaos that was his first few months living with another person in his head, one might have thought that Grian knew better than to let another one mosey on in. Unfortunately for the Watcher, Grian had a bad habit of not learning from the past.
They both felt it once Poultry Man was in the body. It was a rather strange sensation, like they were standing in a small room - a broom closet, maybe - with lots of people in it, yet also like they had infinite space to retreat to.
Oh, now you've really done it! Look at us!
it's quite nice in here!
Grian got up off the bed and examined his limbs. They looked exactly as they had before he let Poultry Man in.
Grian! I demand that you evict this fool at once!
"I can't do that, I only just let him in!"
I don't care, he doesn't know anything about personal space! He's touching me! Grian, make him stop!
"You're inside my head, neither of you have bodies to touch. Quit whining, this'll be fun!"
They egged Mumbo's base first.
This is a terrible idea.
"It's fun! This is the best idea!" Poultry Man lobbed another egg at Mumbo, who was AFK.
Fun ideas are the worst ideas. And I can't believe you let him control the body. You never let me control the body.
You'd build Watcher structures if I let you be in control, Grian reminded them. And the other hermits would find out about you pretty quickly if Watcher structures started popping up.
I wouldn't have any reason to build Watcher structures. There are no portals.
You'd do it anyway.
...Yes, alright, perhaps I would.
"Grian? What on earth ?" Mumbo had come back to himself and was staring around at the chickens in his base, completely bewildered.
um...
Abort! Grian retook control and practically launched himself up the ladder.
You've already gone and got yourself caught, the Watcher scolded as Grian climbed. Everyone's going to find out about him, and I won't be far behind. I hope you're happy.
"Relax, they'll just think I was pulling a prank. Maybe I'll throw some eggs when I'm me just to be safe; diffuse suspicion."
Stricken, Poultry Man said, you'll throw eggs without me?
"It won't really be without you. We're still in the same body, after all."
Such joy, the Watcher grumbled.
