"who is this?" lisa asked, annoyed as she had woken up from her slumber to the phone buzzing on her side

"It's kai's father" man speak

"What?" she frowns

"I need your help lisa" the man pleaded, she could hear the hoarseness of his voice.

"Again? about what?" she grumble

"Can I talk to you in person?" He worriedly ask

"Its 1 am in the morning sir. I'm sorry I can't" she softly spoke as she glimpse at the time

"It's important. Please I'll be waiting here at the hospital" He replied

"Hospital?" her eyes widen in confusion "Why?" she groan

Lisa felt her heart beats faster than the usual, it was because she was nervous and at the same time scared of what happened. Her mind wanders at her thoughts, she suspects this had got to do something about what happened to them. Her head spin that made her wide awake. She had no choice but to go there and second she was concerned of what really happened.

"I have sent you already the location. I'll be waiting" he spoke and hung up the phone before she can even utter a word.

She wails in frustration, she don't want to leave the bed beside her sleeping girlfriend. She sighed and lazily went to put on a hoddie and grab her car keys.

Lisa arrived at the hospital and immediately looked for the room.

"Uhm, mr. kim?" lisa softly say peeking at the room

"Lisa?" mr. kim looked at the door "Come in" he added and lisa slowly went towards him

"What the?" she gape, looking at kai's condition. The bruise on their fight are still evident, but she was more surprised of the the unusual wounds on his arms, to the knuckles of his hands.

"His getting worst" mr. kim glanced his gloomy eyes at his son, kai had been hurting himself.

"Why, is he doing this?" lisa frowned and looked at the man who looks exhausted, judging his appearance those weary eyes says it all that this man had been crying for hours.

"I believe this had to do with his failed relationship with jennie" he looked down

"But it has been so long" lisa sighed

"Not long enough for him, I guess."

"They have been together for years and as I know they didn't have that closure" he reasoned out

"Let's get this straight. What do you propose?" lisa can't stand another time for this conversation, so she blurted it all out. She knows she's being rude but she really had enough.

"Remember what I told you that I wouldn't ask you for them to be together but his not getting any better so I have no choice" he stared at lisa

"Let them be together" he sighed

"No, I cant!" her eye widens of what she heard "Why do you have to ask me you should've have ask jennie" she rolled her eyes

"Actually, I did talk to her months before after I recognize kai's behavior. She told me they broke up and she can't do anything about it, so I decided to ask this from you because I thought you'll understand more" he explained

"How would you know? How confident are you that I'll agree with this?" lisa curiously ask

"because her reasons was that you might get mad or jealous about it, that's why i took chances that if I talk to the one who she is concerned with maybe something will change. And you forgiving my son, gave me a chance of hope" he explained
