Chapter 5

-   Tokoyami POV. -

After talking with Aizawa we came to the agreement that Dāku and Hikari could stay for the night and in the morning we could go see my parents. I walked out of the office to see Dāku and Hikari playing with a shadow puppy that Dāku made.

'Well someone's getting better with there quirk'. Dāku saw me come out and made the puppy disappear while he walked up to me and asked "So what did he say?"
"He said that you guys could stay for the night and we could work things out in the mor....." My words were cut off by both Dāku and Hikari hugging me with tears of joy.

We finally made our way back to the dorms and luckily we didn't bump into anyone else on the way. I showed Dāku and Hikari my room and told them they were going to sleep on my bed. "Dāku look a bed!!! I haven't seen one of these since Toko left.''
"Toko where did you get all this cool stuff I'm pretty sure you didn't have any of this before ." Dāku asked. "That's because I worked and the orphanage got a lot of donations and funds from Pros like Hawks and All Might." "Toko I have a question" Hikari asked. "Yes of course what is it" "
"Is that the sword ?"
"....... yes it is"
"Why did you bring it with you?"
"Because I couldn't allow dad to pass it on to anyone else ...." I remarked
"But now I have a question for you two. Why did you leave now since the 3 years I was gone?"

Dāku and Hikari were silent until Hikari finally said

"Dad wants Dāku to be the next Black Death"

My heart stopped for a second as I tried to make out what she had just said.
"THIS ISN'T GOOD"

"What since when???!!!" I remarked.
" Since a week ago Dad said he gave up on finding you and we all knew Dāku was going to be his next bet" I looked at Dāku to see what he had to say about this but then he said
"Why did you leave us behind ?"

"......Dāku you know if I would of stayed Father would have turn me into the Black Death and even if you guys would have came with me I wouldn't have been able to care for you correctly I barely survived by myself" Dāku and Hikari were silent but I still continued "The streets are tough and unforgiving if you guys would have come with me it would have been a lot harder to survive" Dāku and Hikari were still silent but finally they came and hugged me as they started crying. I tried to comfort them "There there guys we are united again and I promise to you that nothing and I mean nothing will separate us again"
"......Promise ?"

                                        
"I promise"

~Flashback~

"Dark shadow I told you to be look out !!!"
I said as I was running towards the ally.
"Sorry Fumi but I got distracted TURN LEFT !!!!" He said as I almost ran straight into a pole. "Thanks" I started to run inside a large crowd hoping to lose the guy.
"Hey kid stop !!!!" the guy yelled as he started to slow down.
"Why is he even chasing me ?!"
"Well you were dumpster diving in his trash can"
"Well it's not like he was going to use any of this stuff anymore"

When I finally made it to the ally way I climbed the fire escape to get to the rooftop of an apartment building.

" Home sweet home" I said as I sat on makeshift bed which really was a bunch of old towels. The small roof had a box where I kept my food, my "bed" ,and of course the sword.
"Now let's see what we have" I said as I emptied out my little trash bag that I was previously carrying. "A bag of day old bread, another old towel, a box with leftovers and a Yen with some gum on it , not bad for a days worth"
"You know Fumikage we could do better if we just steal some of the good stuff instead of dumpster diving"
"Dark Shadow you know stealing is beneath me and don't call me Fumikage"
"Why not you don't live in that wretched house anymore so that means you don't have to follow that rule anymore"
"............I guess that's true. Anyway it's time for dinner"    I opened the small leftover box to find some fried rice with rotten egg on top.
It smelled putrid.
I had to hold my breath as I threw the egg off the roof so I could eat the rice. While all of this dark shadow was laughing hysterically at my misfortune. After dinner I decided since the sun was already setting I might as well go to bed.
"Fumi do you want me to stay out so I could watch you while you sleep, just incase"
" I'll be fine and besides don't you remember the last time you attacked that poor cat"
"How was I supposed to know it was a cat !!!"
"Heh good night Dark Shadow"
"Good night Fumikage" he said as he returned into my body.

                                                          
"Good night Dāku and Hikari"

Hi guys I'm back with another chapter. I just want to give you guys some character info so in present time Dāku and Hikari are 8 while Tokoyami is 16 and they haven't seen each other in 3 years but Tokoyami has been writing to them from time to time ;)

That's all I'm going to say so hope you all enjoyed and man this was a long chapter it's about 970 words probably the longest I've ever wrote anyway bye ^_^
