Chapter 2

Dawn's pov.

After plating every ones food making sure everyone got their fair share, I skip into the living room. Everyone seems to be getting along really well as I see them all talking among each other about different things. Clearing my throat the room falls silent as everyone stares at me making me a little nervous.

"Dinner is ready now and waiting for you all. Come on before it gets cold. I hope you all like what I have made." I smile with my hands behind my back cheerful that they like what I made for them.

Everyone gets up and makes there way to the kitchen silently. Once they are seated I hand out their plates and pour the wine for everyone as they look up at me in shock. I guess none of my new brothers knew I could cook so well but hey they are just gonna have to get used to it.

"You made this? All by yourself?" A young man at the end of the table with blonde hair and hazel eyes asks. I notice he is wearing his hat backwards as well, must be a fashion statement. It fits his style so I didn't say anything.

"Yes I did. I'm a very good cook, watching cooking shows and reading does that to a person. And I take care of my family so they never go hungry with me around. I will be doing the same for my new family members as well" I say sitting down by my mom smiling at the man as he nods at me and I look away.

"Ah yes well lets start with introductions while we eat. As you all know I'm Henry. I wanna welcome you all to the family and hope you enjoy your lives here from now on." Henry says smiling at me and my brothers.

"I'm Dawn as you all know. Its nice to meet you all by the way. I look forward to getting to know all of you. If you need anything just come to me. I practically know how to do and fix everything." I say smiling at everyone as all their eyes were on me now. Ignoring that my phone keeps vibrating in my back pocket.

"As you all know I'm Willow and I can't wait to get to know you boys. You can call me whatever you boys like." Mom says smiling as I look at her and she gives me a concerned looked but I shrugged it off.

"I'm Alex and i'm the oldest. This is Steven, James, Preston, Sebastian, Jonathon, Spencer, and Derek. We are the blood eight brothers. Then there is Matthew, Jack, Austin, Xavier, Tyler, Jacob, Felix, and Blake. They are the adopted eight brothers." Alex says pointing to each guy as he says their names letting their names sink in so I don't forget them.

"I'm Max. I'm the oldest. This is Scott, Bruce, Trevor, and Eric. Me, Scott, and Eric are adopted." Max says pointing to each of the boys as well as I pick at my food still feeling my phone vibrating in my pocket.

"May I be excused mom?" I say looking at her and then at Eric as he gives me a concerned look and I shake my head slightly at him as he sighs.

"Yes honey. Are you okay?" Mom asked worried putting her fork down as she looks at me folding her hands in front of her on top of the table and I stare into her eyes.

"Yes I just need to make a phone call." I kiss her cheek and head outside to the beach and sit on top of the sand facing the ocean as I see a seagull flying into the horizon causing me to smile.

Taking out my phone I see 64 missed calls and 194 messages from Daniel. Sighing I dial his number and press the call button wondering how mad he is right now.

Daniel: Hello bitch. Where the fuck are you? I come back from camp and your house is empty and you and your family is no where to be found.
Me: My family and I moved Daniel. Were not coming back ever so deal with it. I'm sorry but it's over for good this time and you can't hurt me anymore.
Daniel: No bitch. Its over when I say so and I haven't said so. You have another thing coming. Trust me baby. I'm going to find you no matter where you are. And when I do it will not end good for you or that new family of yours.
Me: Bye asshole.
