Raven thought while stomping her way up towards a flight of stairs that led to their academy's rooftop garden.
The garden was pretty extravagant. Abundant with an assortment of roses, tulips and sunflowers filled the plant pots that filled the place. In the middle, stood a very strong magnolia tree. Prescott Academy's crest.
Raven sat by a bench near the tree and there she ate her lovely lunch made by Knox. Together with the cheesecake she bought from the cafeteria, she felt really satisfied half of the day.
The confrontation she had with Antoinette earlier made her blood boil out of frustration but at the same time in self-contentment.
Because she finally stood up for herself and told everyone a piece of her mind.
Been a while since I raised my voice outside the house. She told herself and giggled at the thought.
Raven heaved a sigh and leaned her back against the bench's back rest, her head hanging back.
She looked up at the tree's branches that covered her view of the blue sky. She smiled at seeing the leaves silhouette made by the sun's rays.
It seeped through the leaves and the whiteness of the magnolia petals that warmed her pale cheeks.
She felt at peace everytime she spent her lunch alone in that beautiful rooftop garden. During this state, she didn't mind that she was alone for once. To the point that she wants to stay there the whole day.
