"Then he just left. I think i fucked up my chance with him bro." I put my face in my hands. Zaniya rubbed my back. "Davina maybe he just need time to chill." I brought my face back up. "Should i try calling again." I said picking up my phone. I called derek at least 10 times and not a once did he answer. Tried texting too. "Nah let him be." I blew a breath. "i'm going on a walk." She looked at me weird. "It's 11." I shrugged and put on my leggings with my van slides. and my yellow hoodie. "I'll text you to let you know i'm safe." She looked at me, "But davina.." I walked out on her. I wasn't trying to hear it. I just needed some space. Who knew dat derek would want me. He didn't like me. Or well i thought he didn't. Yeah he kissed me. I though a kiss was just a kiss. I headed down the street. The street lights were on so i was okay. It wasn't too dark. I got on my phone and scrolled through instagram. Nothing to major on here tonight. Just a few baddie picks and thirst traps. I closed the app. It wasn't chilly, but it sure was a breeze outside. It felt nice. Instead of listening to Zaniya i called derek to see if he would answer. It ringed once and still no answer. "Wtf could you be doing." I said uneasy. Derek wouldn't just let me call him this many times. Whether he mad or not. I walked to a nearby park. I saw a few random people but it was all good. I didn't see anything suspicious going on. I went to a swing and sat down. I took a breather. I thought to think about Jody. Jody was the worst. He started off so right and ended up so wrong. I couldn't see the signs though. People were telling me it was too good to be true, but my hard headed ass never listened.
*FLASHBACK*
I was driving toward Jody house with my moms car. She had let me use it since she was staying inside. She wanted to have a "Me day" I was down the street. I had shot him a text i was on my way but he didn't reply. "I guess i will surprise him then." I pulled into the driveway and hopped out. I knocked on the door to his stone house. He leaved with his older brother since his parents kicked him out. Had a job and everything. No answer had come. I knocked even louder. Still no answer. "Wtf jody." I dialed his number and called. It ranged all the way though. "Man wtf." I tried to open the door and to my surprise it wasn't locked. I stepped inside. It was the same scene every time. The coffee table was filled with shit and the TV was on. Louder than usual. I grabbed the remote and turned it down. Then i heard some funny noises. Sounded like laughing and moaning. I froze. Jody couldn't be cheating on me. He wouldn't. He loved me. The moaning increased as i walked to the back room where jody's room was located. I started to tear up cause if i found the man that claimed he loved with another girl. I was for sure done or so i thought. I took a breath. And bussed through the door. There he was. With the girl who has beeen bullying me since 11th grade. Raven. I immediately charged towards him. "You cheating bastard!" I said as i swung. My feeelings were hurt. How could he do this to me. He said he would never hurt me. He had put it on his unborn children. "You fucking liar Jody!" I kicked and punched him. He was shielding himself. I let up and chuckled devilishly. I took a look at raven who looked as if she had seen a ghost. "You dirty bitch." I took charged towards her, but kiddy had caught me. "Calm down, Calm down, i'm sorry. i really am, she meant nothing. Davina i love you." He kept saying shit but i really didn't give af. This is why this girl has been giving me problems. "Get the fuck out Raven!" He screamed at her. She took running out of the room, soon after we heard a slam from the front door. "Get the hell off of me." I said as i went wild in his arms tryna let loose of myself from him. I got loose and went haywire on him. Throwing blow after blow. "You fucking cheated on me with that bitch, DO BETTER!" I screamed on the top of my lungs. He couldn't take my guts anymore he picked me up and threw me to the ground like i was some man off the street. I couldn't feel my back. It seemed as if i didn't have a pair of lungs anymore. I choked on air. I. Couldn't. Breath. I was about to die right in this man house. Die because of his hands. "Ohhhh Shit. Baby? Baby? DAVINA? Don't you fucking die on me? You hear me?" His voice was fading and my vision was going in and out. This is it. I thought as the darkness took over me.
