chapter 5

Stephen

As I felt we came to a stop, I opened my eyes to see Hailey's head on my shoulder. She was sleeping, her head must've accidently slipped on my shoulder.

She looked like an angel, i felt my heart beat rising. What was happening to me?

'HAILEY!' I yelled.

Her head shot up.

'Stephen, you can't just yell at someone while there sleeping!' She yelled back with that fiery look in her eyes which i loved.

'Man, where were you raised? In a jungle!' She sassed.

'Nope, my mom raised me like a gentleman.' I said making the p pop.

'Apparently not.' She rolled her eyes.

'Why are you looking at me?' She asked.

'Because I'm waiting for you to get the fuck up so we can get out.' I said back.

Her cheeks flushed in embarrassment. We all then got out of the bus and were waiting in the main room in the cabin waiting to get our rooms.

'I can't wait to go skiing!' I exclaimed high fiving Alex and our other friend named chase keith.

'I hear going down the diamond slope is pretty scary to go down.' I said.

'Don't worry, I got you. I could hold you hand.' Chase said flirty with a shy grin.

I looked at him and smiled cutely at him.

'Yo chase, over here!' One of his friends called him.

'Got to go. I will catch up with you guys later.' he said and before he went he kissed my forehead as he gave me a side hug.

I turned my attention back to Alex and she was smiling at me so hard.

'What?'

'Omg, chase totally likes you!' She exclaimed.

'Huh?' I said furrowing my eyebrows.

'He was flirting with you, how can you not see that?'

'Okay, are you high or something? Chase and I have been friends since like forever. He doesn't look at me that way.' I fired back.

'You blind bitch, 'oh I can hold your hand' She said mocking what he said before.

'AND before leaving he kissed your forehead and hugged you.' She said smiling.

'Yeah like he's always done before.' I said irritated at this point.

'No no, he's hugged you but he's never kissed you.' She said smirking.

I rolled my eyes.

'CHASE IS NOT INTO ME.' I say loudly.

Tons of heads just turned. I looked down.

I looked up and I could see Stephen glaring in my direction. He made direct eye contact with me.

Did he see chase and i?

Did he hear me?

I wondered those questions to myself.

Alex turned around and turned back around.

'Looks like someone is jealous. Damn you have two guys after you.' She said.

I slapped her shoulder.

'Shutup.' I simply said and grabbed the keys to our room and walked away.

'Y'all ready?' Klay said as he, stephen, and draymond walked over to us as we stood on top of the hill ready to ski down.

'Hey baby, how about you go first?' Alex smirked pushing Klay down but it backfired because Klay grabbed her hand in time and brought her down with him as they were skiing down the hill.

'YOU'RE SO DEAD KLAY.' Alex yelled echoing as they went down hill.

We all burst out laughing and I didn't even notice when Stephen pushed Dray down the hill.

'CURRRRYYY.' Dray said as he went down the hill.

Stephen laughed so hard until he smirked at me.

'You're next.' he said stepping closer to me.

'Don't you dare, Wardell Stephen Curry II!' I yelled calling him by his full name.

Before he could do anything, i quickly grabbed his arm and pushed him down but he caught his grip and grabbed my waist and we slipped down.

'If we go down, then we go down together!' i said mocking the chainsmokers lyrics.

He rolled his eyes as we started stopping because we were at the bottom of the hill. Our friends came out of nowhere and began throwing snowballs at us. Stephen spun me around to shield me, and then we began to throw snowballs at them and it literally turned into a hardcore snowball fight.

We headed down to the diamond slope where we saw chase waving at me.

I flashed him a smile as we walked over. I turned around to look at the guys and Steph looked irritated.

I shook it off.

'I'm ready to go down the diamond slope!' Alex screamed before grabbing Klays hand as they skiied together.

'Let's go next.' I said shaky.

'Hold my hand.' Chase said cheeky.

I smiled down and interlocked our hands.

'Woooo.' We both started cheering as we went down.

Stephen

I rolled my eyes as they interlaced their fingers and went down.

'You jealous, man?' Dray asked nudging me on my arm.

'What? I could care less about Hailey.' I said spat.

'Don't say things you'll regret. I know you, man. Don't let her go.'

Those words stuck to me in the back of my head for the rest of the day.
