Agape On Four Seasons

Way back before, I had a perfect life,

I was lucky to have such riches, talents and fame.

But then one time, my loving family died,

It feels like I’m useless as a thin paper crane.

Gloomy and depressed, I just wished to die,

To end this suffering I’ve been experiencing alone.

But then you came and gave me love and time,

You’re such a lifesaver; you’ve helped me to stand strong.

One time you left like a bubble popped into the air,

I was only standing there on the side; my heart full of despair.

My new family gave me hope and loved me endlessly,

They taught me many things, and so I lived happily.

I grew up as a noble person, a man full of manners,

One of the main qualities a prominent heir should possess.

Never will I forget the one, who made me prosper,

It is you, my dear, whom inspired me to reach success.

The four seasons passed several times, I still got no trace,

After six years of waiting, again, my heart started to race.

As I see you once again on a fine sunny day,

You never changed; you still bloom like the flowers of May.

I was surprised and dumbfounded when you forgot my existence,

You cannot remember even my small and unique round face.

You really broke my heart and shattered it into pieces,

When I found out you love someone, not me but somebody else.

As I do my efforts for you to notice me,

I suddenly discovered that you have a serious disease.

Now I know why you left me there, puzzled and waiting,

Hoping that I’ll forget you as you disappear quietly.

After all that I’ve done, at last you remembered me,

The one you’ve comforted and truly loved for years,

Our love story was forgotten now has restored,

Are we really destined to each other due to the love we’ve shared?

As the time goes on and on with you,

You started to get weak, a thing that’s bad for sure.

Secretly I talked with your doctor about your disease,

A heart transplant was needed in order for you to live.

I was planning to give my heart literally to you,

To continue your journey on this world and inspire many souls,

I can’t afford anymore watching you leave once again,

So please, just let me die for you instead.

After a misfortune, you got involved in a tragedy,

I was about to save you but I came late, feeling guilty and worried.

At the emergency room at the nearby hospital, I was worried about your critical health,

They told me the transplant should perform immediately while the patient has its breath.

I’ve been waiting for a long time for this end to come,

So for the very last time, farewell to you my love,

 For I am indebted ‘cause you took care, helped and loved me all along,

 Just remember that I’m always here by your side, you’ll never be alone.

I may be selfish and inconsiderate for doing this without you knowing,

I just did that to make you live your life and keep going.

You're like a precious pearl hidden under the sea,

Having you is the greatest thing happened to me.

Please, love someone else who is way better than me,

Perhaps your former lover is matchless to replace thee.

I know he’ll never hurt you, nor forsake and decline you,

He’s a perfect match for you, believe me it’s true.

Just be happy my love, like the way you used to be,

Encourage more people, just like what you did to me.

Enjoy your life and live to the fullest,

That's one of the major keys in order to find your happiness.
