PREFACE Someone once told me in another life I had a way with words and maybe I should consider a career in writing what others told me to because the world needs people like that. I swore to myself with a smile plastered onto my face that I will decide what I will ultimately become. This is dedicated to those people who have to write what others tell them to write, who live with those who demand this is how they should live their lives, forced to follow a certain blueprint with milestones laid out for you to achieve and who have to live by the rules of people who don't always understand you. Who you really are, deep inside where all the heart of you is stored. When you are broken into pieces but ultimately waiting for your moment to shine. How could I know it was bad, I was 7 years old. How could I change now that it became part of my body.

My poem, “Our Story,” is inspired by a true story. This is a story about lost love, which commonly occurs as a result of the difference between a man and a woman and the pace at which each one seeks new romance. In today's world a man forgets that a woman must be pursued, and that her timeline is slower than his. Frequently this results in hurt feelings that the woman cannot overcome after she finally realizes he is the one. His misperception is that she is uninterested or that she has rejected him, when in fact her feelings have actually been growing stronger and stronger for him as each day passes.

[ Rhyming Tale Version ] [ Cliché Alert ] "It's time to tell a story About two souls rich in all glory When they collided Sparks ignited But they had their own reasons To ignore that spark But will love blossom among all these messy spar?" They got married. No, they didn't signed a contract nor it was out of love neither arranged. The boy got married to shut his father's mouth about his single life and for further business benefits. The girl agreed to marry him because she wanted a new adventure cause she was simply bored. They agreed to make their knot temporary only in spoken words. Because as crazy it sounds but they trusted each other. They lived in different rooms under the same roof. Then the girl got charmed by her 'husband ' involuntarily.
