{Jack's P.O.V}
"She will be asleep for a while, Jack, and that's normal, so you don't have to worry," North tried to reassure me, patting me on the back.
"Yeah. I think....We'd better leave 'im alone with Ivy for a while?" Bunny said. I looked up at him, surprised that he was actually being nice. The others nodded and left the room. I mouthed a small 'thank you' at Bunny before he closed the door. He rolled his eyes.
I sat on the chair next to the bed that Ivy was sleeping in. I took her hand in mine and held it to my lips to kiss it lightly. I sighed and looked at Ivy, so peaceful and with a small smile on her face. What did she do to deserve this? I thought. She didn't deserve this. She should be awake and happy, like how she normally is...
I stayed in that position for a long, long time, waiting for Ivy to wake up.

{Tooth's P.O.V}
"How many days has it been, North? Look at him! He's been waiting ever since Ivy got knocked out or somethin'!" Bunny exclaimed.
"Now, now, Bunny. This was what I wanted to talk to Jack about," North said.
"What is it?" I asked curiously. Sandy shrugged, looking thoughtful.
"Well, Jack appears to have a certain kind of affection for Ivy," North began."He cares about her more than anyone, even himself."
Something clicked in my mind."Wait. Do you think..." I started. My eyes widened."Of that's true, then...won't Cupid be coming soon? She always comes to seal Lovers' Fate." I told them. It made sense. Jack could actually......well, he could actually love Ivy. And if that was so, Cupid, in her usual order of business, would come to seal the fate of the two lovers, which in this case would be Ivy and Jack. Lovers' Fate would link both souls together and they would live interdependently, but that also meant any of them, if hurt, would heal faster with a partner. That's good. Ivy needs it now....
"But Lovers' Fate cannot be completed if one of them is in a weak state. Like Ivy currently is," North stated.
"Has Cupid tried it before?" I asked.
"It appears Cupid hasn't actually tried doing that. She just said it couldn't be completed but she hasn't actually tried," Bunny stepped in.
"Oh," I said, my heart lightening a little bit. It meant that maybe, just maybe, Ivy could be saved. And faster, too. "So when do you think she'll come?"
"Very soon. In a few days maybe, or sooner," North said, crossing his hands and smiling a little. Suddenly, I saw Bunny's ears twitch and he looked towards the window, which was open. Then, I saw a reddish-pink speck beginning to fly towards us.
"Not even that late, North," Bunny said, rolling his eyes."More like now."

Cupid settled lightly on the ground in front of us."Well, well, looks like we have two lovers here today that needs their fate sealed," She chirped.
I exchanged looks with the others.
"Actually, it might not be possible for you to seal Lovers' Fate today, Cupid," I began, looking at the floor.
"Why not?" Cupid asked, her brown eyes wide and her pink, reddish flowing dress seemingly floating in the air around her.
I let out a soft sigh."I think you'd better come and follow me," I said, motioning to Cupid to follow behind.
