It's been a few days since Arthit left John's apartment. He was still living at Knot's, but had just found an apartment not far from his job, where he could move in in ten days. The search for his apartment and especially his work had occupied him a lot in the recent days. He had clung to his job with all his strength, arriving earlier and leaving later than usual. He needed to occupy his mind. His initiative was also coming just at the right time, because the purchasing department was in charge of a very important contract whose signature was scheduled in 4 days. Right now, this contract gave rhythm to the purchasing department's entire life.

Arthit also met a colleague who had just returned from holiday, Earth. They immediately sympathized. Earth was a little bit older than him and experienced. He had learned a lot since she came back to the office. She was a nice young woman, serious, intelligent and always ready to help. She loved pink milk like him and was good at giving advice. Arthit had found in her a wonderful elder. Together, they worked hard on this famous contract. Their leader, P'Danai, was counting on them so that everything goes well.

At lunch hour, Earth and Arthit were eating together, as usual now. They talked about this and that, but Earth saw that his colleague was pensive. Since his arrival this morning, he was lost in his thoughts. He seemed worried. She hailed him, concerned.

"Arthit? Are you okay?"

He looked at her as if he had just returned from a distant journey. He was a sorry sight. Earth appreciated his new colleague. She thought he was kind and very diligent in his work. It reminded her of her former boyfriend, who had worked here before. She wanted to pamper Arthit like he was her little brother. She gave him a sweet smile.

"Is it a heartache that puts you in such a state?"

Immediately, Arthit opened big eyes. How could Earth have guessed this so easily? He tried to run away from his eyes by denying but the young woman, very perceptive, realized that he was uncomfortable, which meant she was right.

"I walked out of the office a little bit after you last night and I saw you in the parking.... You were talking to a young man... Does it have anything to do with him?"

This time, Arthit almost choked with his mouth full of pink milk.

"No... It's not what you think..." He stammered, even if this discussion was indeed, which made him so confused today. "The one I was talking to last night was a friend of mine... John..."

"So, what do you think Simba? Who has the best big sister in the universe and the galaxy? I hope you have a "thank you cake" that matches my talent when I get home!"

"Of course you're the best!"

Kongpob smiled at his older sister, with whom he was chatting on Skype for a few hours. When he had told her of his plan to become a pastrycook, she immediately supported him, convincing their parents to let him do what he wanted. Expert in advertising and communication, Kongpob had asked her for help in finding an original and attractive way to launch his project, so that he could make himself known and be different from other pastries.

She had just suggested him to enter a contest in Bangkok in three months. It was a contest that was just created and would allow the winner to win financial aid to create his pastry but most importantly, to become known throughout the country and to benefit from training in famous Thai and international pastries. It was a golden opportunity for Kongpob, who was about to finish his courses at the University next month and who wished to carry out his project without the financial support of their parents.
