"Kong?

Kongpob?

Hey, Kong!

Buddy?

Singto!!"

Suddenly, the hand that rested on Kongpob's shoulder made him feel like an electric shock. Flashes of John's unpleasant hand holding him back in front of the elevator earlier, blinded him as he looked up at Aim, who was staring at him with a questioning look.

It took him a few more seconds to remember where he was, like he'd just woken up from a nightmarish fog or a deep coma. Immediately, he shook his head, before running a nervous hand through his hair.

What the hell...

He was on the racing circuit, just a few minutes before the race start, among a constant din of engines, music and exclamations but despite this, he'd found a way to lose himself in his thoughts. Now, Aim looked worried and he himself felt strange, disconnected from reality.

"Are you okay? You're completely out since you arrived..." His friend patted him on the back. "If you're not feeling well, we can take part in the next..."

"Don't be silly..." The dark-haired boy tried to reassure his friend with a slight smile. "I just... have a lot on my mind tonight. Has P'Arthit arrived?"

Like a man in the sea who couldn't swim, Kongpob needed his lifebelt, the one and only person who could anchor him to reality and keep him from spinning around in his head like a hamster in his wheel.

Even though it was Sunday, they hadn't seen each other all day, his lover having to go to work to complete an Ocean Electrik contract with an important company. So, he missed Arthit terribly, at that moment more than ever.

Fortunately, Aim gave him back his smile.

"My friend! That's why I'm calling you like that!" He exclaimed, indicating to him where to look among the crowd gathered in the bleachers.

There were so many people, so many moving banners, so many faces Kongpob was almost losing his patience, looking for his boyfriend like an exile looking for his house's door when his eyes met Arthit's, cutting him from the rest of the world.

He was so damn cute...

As the pilot smiled with relief, captivated by the embarrassed but so proud way his P' looked at him, biting his lips mechanically, Arthit waved his hand to him. He was with Knot and Prem, behind the row where his sister, Oak, Prae, Todd and Earth were. Aim's father and Dean were also with them, more excited than children.

At once, Kongpob wanted to leave the other pilots and run to his sun. He wanted to take his pretty face in his hands and steal him a kiss in front of everyone. It was crazy but he really wanted it, so much he needed to forget all the rest. He was also waving to him when an organizer's voice echoing through the speakers, announcing the imminent race start.
