John Juntapun was a smart young man.
He knew what he wanted.
A few months ago, he met his new neighbor, an economics student named Kongpob. He didn't know his last name or he didn't pay attention to it. This guy seemed strange because he looked at him with stars in his eyes as if he admired him or had just found him after years of separation. From that day on, Kongpob came to see him every night, bringing him cupcakes and watching him eat them with something in his eyes that quickly worried John. He soon realized that Kongpob was in love with him. It was as plain as the nose on a face.
Then, John found himself in a complicated situation. To be honest, he had a little preference for men, even though he always dated women. He called himself straight, but deep down, Kongpob's charm had quickly attracted him. But John didn't want a love affair with a man because it went against his plans.
Indeed, he has always known that he was destined to shine, to be rich, powerful, known, admired and to attend the highest social spheres of the country. For that, the simplest thing was to put the hand on a rich woman who was dumb enough to be easily manipulated. This Kongpob, simple student with no ambition and no future, wanting to become a vulgar cupcake salesman, was not worth it. He wasn't gonna abandon his plans, and on top of that, suffer the consequences of a coming back for that boy.
One evening, unfortunately, he had succumbed to the temptation. A little drunk, he came across the young man in the building's hall. Helpful, Kongpob had insisted on accompanying him to his apartment. On the landing, taking advantage of the alcohol's excuse, John had kissed him before closing the door. Kongpob was a little too attractive, but he wasn't worth it. Nevertheless, the situation had become more complex after that kiss. John wanted to get rid of this pebble in his shoe, which was beginning to bother him. He was afraid to let himself be seduced again.
Arthit's return, who had been studying in Japan for many years, fell at the time. He was the perfect one to look after his apartment and talk to Kongpob. Arthit had been indebted to him since high school. As a result, he would follow John's instructions to the letter. Meanwhile, John was going to rest and enjoy the Phuket's beaches because no, he was certainly not going to visit his insignificant countryman family. However, he had told the opposite to Arthit, in order to preserve his image as a perfect son, who was going to visit his parents. It was much more "politically correct". It also reminded Arthit that he still had his parents and could spend time with them whenever he wanted.
John was a smart guy. He calculated everything to the millimeter.
However, things had changed diametrically when his co-worker, Som-oh, sent him a message, as well as a picture of a painting she saw in their boss's office. Neither she nor he had ever entered the big boss's office and this time, Som-oh had this opportunity because his secretary was absent. The replacement, not very watchful, had allowed her to enter to place certain files on his desk. Som-oh was really curious and she had not failed to take a look around her, noticing this photo. Immediately, she recognized the young man John had spoken to her recently and whom she had seen at the hall of their building.
