this story was originally just supposed to be a prompt but I wanted to make it into a story and see where it goes. I am still working on the first chapter and splitting it up(what I wrote originally) to make it make more sense because I wrote it on paper and believe me not when I say it got ruined😂but I think I remember what I was wrote so yeah...
the prompt:
Write about a character who is up for a big promotion within their company. They’ve put everything on hold for it – including their love life. But when an outsider is hired instead, they lose it, focusing all their energy on bringing this newcomer down. They just didn’t think about the fact that they might end up liking them.
