Naruto: Revenge In The Past

Anbu Tryouts P3

I have WiFi! Yay! I have lots of work to do here and there isn't much time. Stupid homework. So.. the chapters may be slow :( . Anyways, I hope you enjoy this chapter!

The final test for becoming an Anbu has started. This was a sparring test where you have to go all out. Naruto was excited to see who will come out as the ultimate victor of this part. He looked around and saw many different facial expressions. The genin were scared, the chunnin smiled, and the jounin smirked knowing that the test would be way too easy. Nobody had noticed Naruto yet since he was just watching from the sidelines. He decided to make his move on Tenten before the final part of the test started.

He walked up to her and tapped her on the shoulder. Tenten turned around, expecting one of the proctors to tell her something but, when she saw Naruto, her eyes brightened up. "Naruto, what are you doing here?" She asked
He smiled at her. " I'm actually in the Anbu Black Ops Tenten." He replied.

The look on Tenten's face made Naruto start laughing hard. Tenten was beyond shock. Naruto? Naruto the deadlast? Naruto the prankster. He was in the Anbu, where the shinobi where the strongest of the village. She couldn't believe what he was saying. "B-but how?" She stuttered. Naruto laughed a bit before walking back to his spectator spot.
"You got this Tenten. If you pass, we can be the best Anbu team in Konoha." He told her. Tenten was filled with determination. She got this. She'll ace this part of the test.
(I'm not going to do all the fights so, I'll just skip to Naruto training after the Anbu tryouts)

Naruto was practicing his jutsu when suddenly,  Kurama decided to talk to him.
Naruto.. do you remember the tailed beast mode? (sp?) Where you have full control of my power and having all the cloak?

Of course I remember that Kurama but, I'm confused on why you brought that up just now.

You see. You learned how to control my power at a late age. If u learn how to control it now, our power can increase tenfold in the future.

Naruto thought for a bit. He remembered how draining it was in the beginning. To combine with Kurama and use his power was energy taking.

You're right. If we are powerful than before, we can beat the masked man.

Yeah, so let's start with the basics right now.

Naruto nodded and proceeded to listen to Kurama on how to do it. He was young in this time period. His chakra control was bad so, they were taking it much slower. Although, at the end of the day, it might pay off for Naruto.

—time skip—- 1 month- ish later

It was in. The results for the Anbu tryouts. Naruto was excited to see who passed and who was on his team. Right now, Cat and Bead were on his team and the team capacity was increased to 5. Naruto walked across the village without a care in the world. Ignoring the bad looks of the villagers and the weak KI (killer intent) that they gave him. He finally made it into the Anbu headquarters and looked for the paper of results. He found it and started reading.

Genin results:
Tenten
Sasuke
Yu
Gren

Naruto was so excited that Tenten made it in  to the Anbu Black Ops. He didn't care about Sasuke that much and didn't really care about the other genin who passed. He read off more names on the Chunnin and Jounin list.
"Blah. I don't care about them. I only care about Tenten." He then blushed at his sentence. "I guess I worded that wrong." He laughed at bit.

Time to tell Tenten the good news he thought.

He walked around the village, looking for a weapons shop that belonged to Tenten and her father. Turns out that he didn't need to find the shop. He saw Tenten practicing with a katana on a wood dummy. "Hey! Tenten!" He yelled from afar. Tenten faintly heard someone familiar yell her name so, we turned around. She saw Naruto and waved to him. Naruto ran to her and told her the news.
"You made it Tenten! You're in Anbu now!" He jumped up and down while Tenten did the same. "I can't believe it Naruto. I actually passed." She said. "Do you know any of the teams that people were added to?" She asked.
Naruto shook his head. "The team results don't come out for one more week." He said. Tenten was slightly disappointed but was still happy nonetheless. She had made it in to the most advanced ninja rank in the whole village. She was going to become very strong one day. But she wondered. If Naruto was already in Anbu, then how strong is he?

Naruto and Tenten talked for a bit before it started getting dark. Naruto and Tenten said their goodbyes and started walking back home.

I wonder if she will be on my team. Naruto wondered.

Don't get uninterested about this book yet. After the teams are made. I'll do missions and those are going to be fun. Please comment and tell me what more I should add.
