Gavin stared through the one sided mirror towards Nines and Jhon as the tower of a man stared intently at the man in question. The robot was trying his hardest to not smack the girl next to him who was chewing on a bag of chips.
A sound of swallowing the food made itself evident as the girl sat up in her creaky office chair. She looked over at Gavin as her hair made a waterfall out of a light shade of chestnut. "So...what's the deal with this guy?" She asked, reaching in the bag to get herself another chip.
Gavin looked over at her and scanned her, reading her information silently. It made her a little weirded out as she reached out and waved her hand in front of his face. He blinked slightly and turned away.
Emma-Lynn Williamson
Birth: 12/15/2005
Career: Forensic Scientist (Psychiatry) for DPD
Criminal Records: Shoplifting"Well...Emma-Lynn, this man here..." Gavin pointed to Jhon after a minute, "...is a suspect on the Johnson case..." he finished. "I thought you would've known that for a forensic scientist..." he added, putting his hand down and noticing that Nines had come back to the observation room.
Emma-Lynn laughed a little and looked at him, twirling around in her seat to look at him. "So? What'd you get out of him, Slendy?" She asked him in a teasing tone, making Gavin feel a small twang in his chest. He didn't think much of it and thought it was a small bug that he could get rid of easily.
Nines pinched the bridge of his nose before slamming his hand on the desk. "I can't get shit out of him!" He shouted, looking over at the two of them. The blue-eyed, 33 year old girl looked at him with a questioning look.
"Maybe he has schizophrenia...? Or Dissociative identity disorder...?" Emma-Lynn said to him, holding out a chip to him. She smiled when he took it and looked at it for a long moment. "I've studied this kind of thing before. Besides, all of the signs are there..." she stated getting up and pulling out the files for Mayella. "She had signs of it in recent medical records before her death..." she added, sitting on the desk in the observation room. "But, we also can't know for sure unless we take a few tests or keep our eye on him..."
"So What do you think we should do? Put him under house arrest?" Nines asked her with his hands in his pockets, his thumbs peeking out of them. He received a shrug from Emma-Lynn, watching her stare at Jhon for a long second.
Gavin looked at them after a moment. "Or I could figure out what's going on with him..." he said suddenly, looking at them. He had the sudden urge to show Nines that he was actually worth something, adding on to his suspicions of a bug lurking in his software. Nines raised his brows in surprise before waving his hand in an 'Okay' motion.
"Alright but it's only to find out what's ticking in that head of his, got it tinface?" He said to him while pointing towards his own head.
The bot nodded in agreement before walking into the interrogation room. He stared for a long moment at the suspect that had his hands chained to the table to prevent further injuries to any human or droid. Gavin sat himself in the seat across from the chained man.
"What do you want you worthless pile of scraps?" Jhon asked, his head hanging low as the cuffs clinked against the hook keeping his hands down.
"I'm the one asking the questions, dirtbag!" Gavin shouted, smashing the side of his fists onto the table and causing the man in front of him to jump slightly. "Now...tell me everything that happened the night of the murder."
The fear that Gavin had caused in Jhon made him spill everything, but nothing mentioned the murder. The information given to them made the two humans in the other room confused. Nines frowned and pressed a button that made his voice appear in the other room. He spoke just before Gavin could scare the living hell out of Jhon.
Nines chuckled slightly into the intercom. "Alright, scar-face, that's enough."
Gavin got up and dusted off his hands slightly, leaving the room and going back to Nines and Emma-Lynn as a female police android came in to take Jhon back into his holding cell. Emma-Lynn looked at her watch and flipped slightly.
"Awe shit! I gotta go!" She said, her voice cracking slightly out of panic. Her face turned a crimson once she heard Nines laugh at her.
"Where you runnin' off to?" Nines asked her with a smug look. He seemed more laid back with her instead of giving Gavin the assumption that a stick was so far up his ass you couldn't tell the difference between the two of them.
Emma-Lynn looked at him, her face redder than anything Gavin had seen. "I was supposed to meet someone for lunch today! See ya later, Conan!" She said in a flurry of embarrassment.
Gavin looked confused as he watched Emma-Lynn bolt out of the room with all of the files of autopsies and other things that involved their cases. "She's weird." He finished, his observation processed completely.
Nines just shrugged and gave a small smile as he walked out of the room. "Yeah, she's weird, but she's cool too."
Gavin shrugged and followed him, feeling that pluck again in his chest. He shook his head and ran a system analysis as he moved to stand by Nines' desk. He stood straight as he watched Nines come back from the break room with a fresh cup of coffee. The steam emitting from the small hole the lid had for mostly spill proof technology.
Nines stopped and looked at him, giving him a frown. He took a swig of the warm beverage before setting it down on his desk. "That desk is empty. You can sit there."
The white-clad android followed his finger that was pointing to the empty desk next to his. Gavin walked over to it and looked at it for a long moment before taking a seat in the chair. His hands sat at the lip of it as he scanned it without his technology, just with his eyes. He couldn't touch or feel the surface, he could only see what the material was. The fake wood making him interested in what actual wood looked like due to them only being surrounded by endless towers of glass and screens.
Nines watched him quietly before turning to his work. He began writing up reports and putting in all of the information they collected into the safety of the computer's file. He was distracted long enough for Connor to sneak up on him and scare him with just a jolt. The coffee he had just made spilled onto him and the ground, causing him to turn around and glare at Connor.
He got up quickly and hurried off to grab napkins. "Really?! You had to do that?" He asked Connor, glaring at him as he watched his brother fall to his knees in laughter.
"That was priceless!" Connor said in a fury of laughter. Hank just a little ways away from the scene, watching with a small smirk on his face.
Nines rolled his eyes and flipped Connor off. "Go to Hell, Anderson."
