Carrisa POV

Oh no!! I have to get home. My mom said I can only stay for an hour and I've been here for like 2 1/2 hours.

" Emma I gtg!!!" I said as I grabbed my bag

" Ok. I'll tell u how the date goes!!!" she replied

" K bye!" I yelled as I walked out the door.

10 min later.

" Carrisa! WHY ARE YOU SO LATE???" My mom yelled as I walked in the door

" Sorry mom, Emma is going on a date and she needed help. But as soon as I realized the time I left" I said as I looked down

" Fine, but your not allowed your phone tonight after you talk to Carl." she said.

" Fine, I guess I deserve it anyway. " I said.

" Now that we got that cleared up, dinners ready!" she said

" YES!!! What are we having?" I asked sitting down at my seat.

" lasagna!" she said

" Ooooooo my favourite!!"

As we were eating I was wondering how their date was going.

Ring! ring!!

The house phone rang and I sprinted to go get it.

" hello?" I said

" Hey babe!" Carl said

" How r u?" I asked

" Good. I can't talk long but I just wanted to say hi and that I love you." he said

" Okay. I miss you!!" I said
" I miss you too!!" He replied
And then the line went blank.

" Hey honey. Who was that?" my mom asked
" Oh that? That was Carl." I replied
" How's he doing?" she asked
" Good. " I said
" I'm gonna watch tv now. " I said and walked into the living room.

Jack POV

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
" Hello mrs Emmas mom" I said to emmas mom
" Well hello Jack! you can call me Alison" she said
" Emma will be down I'm one min!" she said.
2 min later
" Wow" I said " emma, you look beautiful!"
" Thanks" she said as she blushed
" Are you ready?" I asked
" Of course!" She replied as we walked the very short distance to the beautiful California beach.

Carrisa POV
I wonder how her date is going.
I'm sure she will call me after.

Right now I'm watching Modern Family but it's really boring and I fall asleep.

RING! RING! RING!

I wake up on the couch and it's about 8:30 pm
" Hello?" I hear my mom ask
I can't make out anything else they're saying though.

" Carrisa!! pack a bag with snacks and a book. We have to go to the hospital." she said
" Why?? MOM WHAT HAPPENED??" I screamed.

"Well, Carrisa there's been a accident at the beach...."
