Chapter 7

I finally decide to go out and find Emma. I open the door and take down 3 walkers right away, but that's seems to be it for now on my street.
I walk the short distance from my house to the hospital. I run into the hospital entrance and turn left, right, left, left and then run down the Hall to find her room. I slowly walked into her room not knowing what I'm going to see. As I open the door I see nothing inside. I look everywhere and she's not here. " EMMA! WHERE ARE YOU??" I yell and start crying. What if she's gone already? I curl up in a ball on the floor and cry.
A few minutes later I know screaming was a bad idea. I hear the low moans and growls those monsters make. I check through the cracks in the door and see that there's more than 5. That's going to be hard I think.
I sit there wondering what to do when " THATS IT!!" I scream. " Oops" I whisper. My idea is to climb out the window. Her room is only on the first floor so. It's now or never.
I jumped out on to the little roof that's above the main entrance and looked around. There's about three walkers, but I can handle them. I was about to jump when I saw a silver katana on the ground. I need that katana.
I jumped off the roof and rolled on my back. A few of those walker things came up to me but I grabbed the katana and sliced their heads off.
I could get used to this, I thought.
I ran for a few miles when I saw a car. I sprinted up to it and then I saw that the keys were still in the engine.
I knocked on the window to make sure no one was in there and there wasn't. So I tried to open the car and it didn't work. I pulled harder thinking it would work and it did. After I fell on my butt trying.
This is going to be a long day.
