Chapter 4

Recap: "Carrisa, there's been an accident at the beach"

Emma POV

I asked Jack if we could go check out a pretty 10 ft cliff before we went swimming and he said " for sure! sounds fun!"

As we walked up the steep hill to get to the top. I wobbled and Jack caught me in a really weird position. We were just staring at each other when he kissed me!!!

Jack POV

I noticed that Emma wobbled a but and she almost fell, but luckily I caught her. we were in a really awkward position. I had to think about it first but I thought that it's now or never so I kissed her.

She seemed shocked at first but then she actually kissed back!!!

This is the happiest day of my life.

At least that's what I thought....

Emma POV

Jack kissed me and it was amazing.

We continued walking up the cliff when i heard rumbling so I looked over the edge of the cliff it looked like a mini rock slide.

" Oh cool!! a rockslide!" I said

" Oh neat! I'll grab my camera!" Jack replied

Jack grabbed the camera and we took a really pretty picture if the sunset and the rock slide. It's been a perfect night. So far today is the only day that something bad hasn't happened.

At least that's what I thought.

I took one step forward to look at the ocean beneath us and then the cliff crumbles...

" JACK!!!!!!!!" I yelled

" Emma!!" he yelled. I think he yelled something else but I couldn't make but out by the time I was in a pile of rock at the bottom of the cliff.

Jack POV

" Emma!!! " I yelled

It looks like she's unconscious. What do I do???

911

911: hello? what's your emergency?

J: I'm at the west part of sunny side beach. My girlfriend just fell off if a 10 ft cliff and she's unconscious."

911: okay. We will send an ambulance right away.

10 min later

WOOOO WOOOO WEEO WEOOO

" Please, please help her!" I said as the paramedics got her on the stretcher.

" We're doing everything we can sir. Just follow the ambulance to the hospital and you can see her. We've contacted her parents. If you have anyone else that should be there call them now." The paramedic said

" Ok. I'll see you there. Hang in there Emma. " I said and then I ran to my car.

30 min Later

Carrisa POV

I've been shaking all the way to the hospital.

As we walked in I saw Jack with his head in his hands.

"Jack! What happened?????" I asked

" We were looking over the small cliff and it crumbled. And Emma was where it crumbled" he said

" Oh my gosh. Is she okay?" I asked

" I don't know" be replied

" Carrisa?" a nurse asked as I stood up

" Yes?" I asked

" Emma has requested to see you. Room 1278" she said

" Okay. Thank you" I said as I sprinted down the hall.

Who knows what I'll see when I walk into that room...
