Chapter 19

She decided to search for Yoongi's brother Geumjae. His name was all she knew about him but she would find out more and then she'd bring them together again. It made her sad seeing her lovely boyfriend sitting on the balcony alone and looking up to the sky. He always did that with his brother and he sometimes did it nowadays too but sadly without his brother.
With her goal for the next few weeks she went to Yoongi and asked him many questions about Geumjae.
"Babe?" Yoongi put down his headphones and looked up at her. "What was your brother like? I mean, where did he move as he left you and what did he wanted to do?" "W-Why are you asking me that?" He had to clear his throat at first as he thought of her brother again. "I thought that you maybe want to tell me more about your family then only the fact that they all went their own ways." "Well, if you want to know I can tell you..." "I'd love to know more about them so I can understand where your character traits come from." "Alright. So maybe I should start with my dad. He is a business man, that's sure. He is the boss of a big company and he just has time for it. He doesn't really care about other people or even about the people he once loved. I think that's why my parents left each other. But what I can say about him is that he is determined. If he wants to accomplish something he will do it. And he has a very good taste of everything. He was always good dressed and he listened to great music. I think if he had more time he even would have cooked delicious meals for us." "He doesn't seem to be the monster you always told me he was..." "No, he isn't...He just has different priorities than my mom and my brither and me. My mom is the complete opposite of him. She is caring and full of warmth and love. The most important thing for her is family and I think she just ended up drinking was because dad left her alone and she is afraid of losing people. She really loved my dad and I think he did once too but he had his mind elsewhere." "I think I'd like her..." "Everyone liked her. I don't even remember one person who didn't like her. She has an open heart and she is nice to almost everyone. She reminds me a little bit of you." "For real?" "Yeah. Of course you two are totally different people but there are some parallels. He's taking lots of pictures and he also travels a lot I think. He always wated to travel around the world. But he also is a bit...I don't know how to say this...He doesn't let much people into his life or at least he didn't do that when we were young. Maybe he changed. Maybe not. I really want to see him again." "I'm sure you'll see him again."
She crawled into his lap and kissed his nose. "You wanna know something?" He nodded and looked into her eyes. "I love you. No matter what." His gummy smile appeared on his face as he heard her words and he pressed her body into his before he fell to the side and pulled her with him to lay on the sofa. "I love you too."

She was walking to her flat as her phone rang and Jimin's name appeared on the screen. "Jimin-shi!!" " Hey Shorty! Good news!" "Uhhh I like good news. Tell me!" "I....Will move in with Hoseok-hyung!" "Omg! For real?! You will stay in Seoul?" "Yes and I found a new friend wich makes me quite happy. Hoseok is so great and I'm so happy that I can live with him." "I'm so happy for you Jimini. So does that mean we can see each other more often?" "Yup! And I can see JK as well. It'll be like 15 years ago...JK, you and me. Well and Yoongi hehe." "I love you Jimini. I have to go, I'm- kinda busy." "Is that just an excuse to make out with Yoongi at a party again?" "Fuck you! No for real I have to do something really important and it will take time so I have to go now. Bye!" With that she just hung up without giving him a chance to say something but she had to find Geumjae. However she would do that but she wanted to do it for Yoongi.

It was already 2 am and she was tired as hell but she wanted to find Geumjae as soon as possible so she thought of her opportunities. Just google his name was too easy and she couldn't find anything so she had to make a masterplan. She made a list with everything Yoongi told her about him and wrote down everything Geumjae could do today. There were many options he could do but there was one thing that was the most logical thing to her. He likes to travel and to take pictures but he also doesn't let peole close to him so maybe he just works when he is alone. He could be a journalist who travels around, takes pictures and then writes articles about the places. He wasn't famous because otherwise she would have found him on Google.

She looked up every single magazine and newspaper in the country that had such articles but she couldn't finde him. Her eyes felt heavy and she had a light headache so she decided to get some sleep and continue searching the next day.

As she woke up the next day she immediately stood up and made some coffee before she went back to her laptop and followed her other idea where he could work. And finally after some hours of searching and reading many many texts she found a small city where a person named Min Geumjae had a photo studio. A photo studio with a small gallery of his pictures. She jumped up and danced around the room while she was so happy that she dropped her coffee but she didn't care. Yeah she did it but now there was the difficult part of the plan. She had to get Geumjae here or Yoongi there. But how she would do that overcharged her mind for that day so she decided to go to the gym and get her mind free of the whole thing.
