He's done it. He literally owns the biggest library in a house I have ever seen.

I look around and I felt so much excitement. So many books. So many shelves. So many ailes of books.

I start running my hands along one of the many many shelves. Looking at all the varieties. From new, to old. From stitch leather bound, to modern style bindings.

It was beautiful.

And the smell. Ugh the smell is amazing.

But I wasn't here to drool… I was here to find answers.

Stopping in the middle of the fifth aisle I went down I realize ...i have no where to start. I have no where to begin. I haven't received a single answer on what is going on. Or where I am. Or who I am with.

All I have is…. Desmond name, and his deep hatred for me.

For a theory?

For being apart of them? Who's them? Besides me being there, why does he think I cause that fire.

Maybe I could look into Desmond…. To know who he is, and what council he's in and…

My thoughts stop, and I heard people whispering. Looking around I couldn't see anyone. Walking toward the end of the aisle no one was there, till I look to my left and there is a little girl standing at the end of the isle.

She looks to be about five or six. Her hair looks like one of those little red head dolls with hair that couldn't be brushed down, it was such a mess. She had a million little freckles all over her face and the rest of her fair skin. And her eyes are a bright glowing blue like mine.

She seems to be in some sort of school uniform. A navy blue dress and a white button up shirt underneath. And her shoes are shiny and black leather heels. She looks like she time traveled from the 1920s.

Squinting a bit, I saw swirly lines crawling out of she collar, and end just below her chin on her left side.

"Hey…" I say and her doe eyes widen and she runs down the aisle. "Wait!" I say and follow her and she is gone. But the whispering got louder.

Walking down the rows of books the whispering got louder and louder. As it reached the peak, just before they became screams, I stop and turn to stare at a huge leather bound, unmarked, book. And the world went quiet.

Picking it up dust went everywhere and the book weighs a ton. Turning it over it held a weird Celtic looking symbol. It was weird in it looks like a few different designs stacked on top of one another. And it held some sort of familiarity to it.

Some of the lines are wavy, some are hard lines and others are vine like. All beautifully woven together to make a V.

Slowly turning the old cover the title on the book lied on the cover page, reading "The Bloodlines and Hierarchy of the Eternals".

Walking over to one of the sofas I sat down. Tucking my legs into myself I set the book on my lap and slowly turn the old pages.

Now, the main bloodlines fall upon three families, for the others have deceased, killed, or missing.

House Quinton

House Hathor

House Dragomire

Forever may our Royal bloodlines reign.

For our dedicated council members, the guardian's, the judges, and the voice of our beloved Royals.

House Lemment

House Rose

House Lorwind

Long may you show us the Royal way.

My heart stops. A clue! Quickly and carefully I turn to the council section.

Jumping to Desmond's house I am in shock. There are only a handful of names in this section. One dates back to an unknown date. All the way to Desmonds which says "Desmond Allan Lorwind a member since 1804 to ___"

This can't be right. Right? He can't possibly thay old. No one can possibly live this long. He can't be older than like….25. Maybe?!

Looking at the other council member houses they all start hundreds of years ago. In fact, it looks like Desmond is the newest member?

No, can't be, this probably haven't been updated in decades.

But for some reason, even though I found it to give me nothing creditable, I kept reading.

The Lord's and Ladies of each of these houses help guide and speak for our Royals. They give justice, and protection to not only use, but for them most importantly.

Each of our council members are follow the bloodline.

House Lemment follows and guards House Hathor.

House Rose follows and guards House-

"What are you doing?" Someone ask.

I squeal in panic and shut the book. Looking up I see my knight in shining armor, Desmond, with Alex? Alice? She seems more cheerful than earlier today and she was standing at attention like some sort of bodyguard.

"I uh…"

"Who said you can leave the room?" He ask and pulls the book from my lap. Looking at the cover his nose curls and his eyes move to me in anger.

"I was...reading that…" I say.

"Why?" He hands it to Alice and she walks away to put it back, I assume. "Don't they teach you these things?"

"No actually, " I stand up and glare up at him. "I didn't learn these things in public school."

He rolls his eyes and Alice comes over and snarls at me. "Don't talk to your master like that or else."

I cross my arms and bit my tongue. I might not due, but I don't want to know wear or else is. "There are some rules here," Desmond says clicking my leash back on. "As soon as My Lady shows up to decide your fate, you need to take care of yourself. I will not have a starving, smelly, dirty pet."

Hunger pains hit me hard when he brought to my attention the lack of nutrition I have had.

"You will eat with the rest of the pets. You will bath with them. You will be like then. Because you are," he narrows his eyes and scans me. "I want you dressed and fully covered in my presence, and all other times. You will eat healthily, and not junk like the rest of you humans. Understand?"

I bit my lip and nod. I'm glad I can wear clothing. I would really not like walking around naked…

"You will also be sleeping in my room, on the floor or the couch. I don't want you to take any chance to run away. You will sit in my room till Alice's pet comes in gets you otherwise."

And as if on cue, Lorna comes swaying in. She seems extra bubbly and smiley since I last saw her.

I could feel my nose curlin disapproval in her lack of clothing. Looking down at my hands I ask. "And how long till I die?"

"My mistress wont be here for a couple weeks seeing how she is dealing with international affairs. Till then, you will be docile." Desmond and Alice leave and Lorna chimes over and grabs my hand.

"You must be starving! Let's go!" She says with glee as age runs out pulling me with her, leash in her free hand.
