Goood evening book fans!
This chapter is kinda boring but picks up a bit.
The picture is of Haley's piece. But of course on a female body, and just on her chest and upper back.
Enjoy! :*

A thing Desmond didn't mention is that Haley is staying. Staying till the last two royal lines are here. Because they all are now giving me judgement.
I thought it was just Desmonds...but I guess his boss decided to make a show out of it.
Lovely.
But how Desmond talks about my judgment and them deciding my fate, she doesnt know? That they are judging me? I'm not quiet sure on the details. But Desmond wants me to have little interaction with Haley.
Desmond said he wanted to talk at the ball about something, but he's been with Haley almost every second. It's getting to be silly the amount she calls for him. Or how often a pet comes to tell him she wants to see him.
It makes me angry.
Desmond has been giving me more freedom, for some reason. In the brief moments i've seen him he's tossed out my leash and told where I can and can't go.
Needless to say ive found myself in the library most of the time. Reading a few pages to see if I get hooked. Or if I get bored and I move to the next one.
This is where I started to learn more about vampires. About Desmond.
That millennials ago there were twelve royal bloodlines. That these eight families are what started the vampire race. They were witches, the first witches that started to teach their spells to only 'gifted' humans.
For decades they taught and passed their knowledge and power.
The eight family specialized in different schools of magic. But wanting to look more into that, the book had torn pages.
Giving up on that goose chase, I continued, one of the families, the Dragomire 'coven' had an individual that wanted to dabble in immortality, they did not their studies to end. Wanting to spend all eternity practicing theirs magic.
Looking more into it he started to go mad. He started converting people from other households to practice his research. Doing seances, killing animals and …. Humans.
Ending with this blood ritual, that killed almost all of them.
The books got a little fuzzy on how they came back to life as vampires. Nothing really concrete or certain on what happened.
It just picks back up a year later that everyone there came back as immortals, and then their first kid was the first vampire, the start of the race.
And with in the year this small community grew and grew. All the humans died and all the witchee are supposedly dead.
These kids, the first eight grew at the same rate as humans, physically. Mentally grew faster. They were lighting fast, oddly beautiful and fed on blood every once in a while. And they kept most of their magic. But it was different, like how every coven had a specialty but could cast anything. The kids mostly kept the specialty, enhancing it. And only a select few were able to dabble in a little bit more.
The kids became the royals, and birthed more kids to continue the lineage.
Most of the text began to talk about how they ruled and what laws are in place and how there's a big drawback? But the books weren't specific yet again or the pages been ripped out of it yet again.
Sighing I stretch in my chair and sigh. It's interesting to read up on this history, knowing more about Desmond, kinda. He's not a royal, royals have a crest marked on their body as I recently learned. I don't know how he can use magic, or what looks like it, or why he's a Guardian and not anyone else.
Looking out the window I got sad.
Desmond won't let me outside. I miss the sun. I miss the grass in my toes and feeling warm. I miss the beach and the smell of sat water.
It's been night everyday since been here, sure the sub rose and fell, but I never saw it. This seems to be the only window in the whole place.
So I guess they can't be in Sunlight?
I wonder if David is looking for me. He most likely is, he is a police officer. He has ways of finding me or trying to.
The door opened and the sound of Haley giggling filled the library. "Oh Dessy stop!" Haley giggles. Looking over at her she had her arms wrapped his. Her cheek is pressed up against his arm and she was giving him lovely eyes.
She was dressed in a pair of short, shorts and a sports bra, revealing her whole piece on her chest in back. The tribal was beautiful. The lines clean and sharp. The way it wraps around her curves. The ends look like it made a sharp choker around her neck and it looked like fire going down her arms.
Stunning, really.
Desmond on the other hand, didn't look pleased. He just had his hands in his pockets and looking forward. It was very clear he was not amused.
I chuckled to myself and close the book in my lap and stood up. Haley snapped her head in my direction and I made sure to put my head down just before she did.
"What is she doing here? I thought humans were dumb and couldn't read." She paused setting if I would answer. "Especially pets."
I clench the book and bit gritted my teeth.
She giggled and started to walk toward me. "Dessy you haven't beat this one into submission yet?" She tsked and stopped right in front of me.
I stood there, fighting the urge to smack her. I don't know what's gotten into me… this anger bubbling up felt fierce, and feral.
"Haley, don't bother yourself with her. She's nothing." I pain in my heart made me suck in a breath and look at him, past Haley. His normally dull expression stays, but slowly changed.
Everything went by so fast. Haley grabs be by the neck and lifts me in the air hissing at me. "Did you just, ignore me?"
Her grip tightened and I tried to peel her fingers away. Tears fell down my face, she was going to suffocate me. My eyes never left Desmonds. He didn't try to stop her… why would he? He wants me dead.
His emotionless stoic features changed. He lips curled back and his nose curled.
Haley shook me making me gasp and my eyes started ringing. "Look at me when I speak to you." Looking down at her I fought even more. Her smile sent chills down my spine. "Your lucky I won't beat you into submission."
Her grip loosen, letting me breath a little, but still held me up. "Now, apologize for making me over work myself."
I don't know what happened. I don't know what went through my head but I laughed. Gripping her wrist I squeezed. The smell of burning flesh fill my nostrils, and Haley screams in pain, shaking me like a fish in a bag.
Finally she free me and threw me across the room.
