~*Jonathan, Location: Las Vegas, Time and Date: 9:35AM, June 29th 2137*~

Walking the light lined streets with cars moving pass on both sides of me the cool breeze of the early morning air calms my nerves as the suns light was blocked by momentary dark clouds that lingered from the night before. I have to find Summer and George, hopefully they have a same mind as I so we can cross paths here in Vegas. I stop at a cross roads as many cars go pass, some even honk at me. I put my goggles on and tap the right side waiting for the A.I to boot up and update the H.U.D but nothing comes up, I sigh pulling my hoodie over my head and my scarf over my mouth. I sink into the ground and travel across town using my phase walk climbing out from the ground in a dead end alleyway, I catch my breath and sit down against the wall, "Okay... Let's see if I can find you two..." I pull out what looks like a pen but one click of the button on top a holographic screen pops up, "Gotta love this tech, Summer really is too good at this..." I swipe up and press my hand against a scanner,

"Greetings Jonathan." The tablets A.I welcomed me,

"Morning Heather, can you connect me to either George or Summer?" It takes a moment as a line of dots appear and blink, loading steadily as it tries to connect to either of them,

"Sorry, but I am unable to connect to them at the moment but you do have a message from Summer, would you like to hear it?" I nod,

"Sure." It begins to load again,

"Hey, I know you pretty much said you were gone after our small talk yesterday but we need to meet up, I'm in Vegas now. My location has been tagged with this message. Meet me as quick as you can." A pop up opens,

"Would you like me to give you a direct route to Summer's location given?" I nod,

"Yeah, connect to my goggles, update the H.U.D and show me the quickest route." It takes a second while the goggles go through various display changes then back to normal view,

"Would you like me to adjust the route to your phase walk?" I give a confused look,

"Wait, you can do that?" My sight goes dark for a moment then opens up showing Summers destination apparently was only three miles west of my position using my phase walk I can get there in about seven minutes. I sink down and begin to traverse though the wild mess of metal pipe work, it wasn't easy, I can phase through mostly any metals but it requires a bit more energy to go through them and dodging them is better for me even if it alters my  time of arrival to just over ten minutes.

"Approaching destination, I'd suggest coming up now." Heather spoke through the goggles' ear covers. I come up through the ground, standing before an old run down motel.

"Quiet the place... Link me to Summer." It takes a moment as a series of beeps start,

"Connection reached." There's a subtle rustling of papers on the other end,

"Summer, I'm here, where are you?" I say as I look around for a sign, there's a flash of light that goes across my face, it came from a room on the third floor, "A simple answer would be enough..." She laughs,

"Hurry on up here, there's a staircase on the left side of the building." I walk over to the left side of the building and see what can barely be described as stairs are nothing more than planks of wood sticking out of the wall, I make my way up the stairs and to where Summer has made her little base, I phase through the door, she sat in front of a monitor with various tabs open and text scrolling by quickly relaying information that I could not follow, "I saw what happened in the old station, a shame there was nothing you could have done to save the others but what's done is done." I sat down on the bed next to her as I took off my hood, scarf, and goggles.
