"Wednesday morning, I love you" said Dex as he woke up in his bunk.

"Someone's happy this morning," said Zach, sitting on the end of Dex's bunk.

"I would say someone got some last night! But I know you didn't!" laughed Jesse.

"Ha! I wish!" said Dex. Zach laid down in Dex's bunk next to him, waiting for Jesse to go down to the seating area so he could talk to Dex.

"So, did you call her?" whispered Zach.

"Yeah" he smiled. "So... spill man... come on!" said Zach.

"There's nothing to say!" replied Dex.

"Well? What did she say?" asked Zach.

"Weirdly the same thing about the gig the other night, she felt something strange too," said Dex. He felt stupid every time he said that.

"I think you need to meet this girl and see if there is anything there," suggested Zach.

"Advice? From you?... Really?... Drunken serial fan fucker!" Dex laughed.

"Ha ha! Yeah, alright!" laughed Zach, in agreement that Dex was right. "Invite her to a gig, bring her back to the bus..." Dex listened, hoping Zach had some decent advice. "and I can fuck 'er!" laughed Zach. "I'm kidding! bring her back, just have a chat to see if there is anything there. It might turn out to be nothing but least you can get it out of your head, man," suggested Zach.

Dex thought for a minute. "She's coming to the festival on Friday," Dex replied.

"That's good, right?" asked Zach.

"Yeah," Dex replied, unconvincingly.

"What? What's wrong with that?" asked Zach. "Uh.. I don't know, it's the whole fan thing I guess," Dex moaned. "Don't you ever worry about that when you bring someone back?" Dex asked.

"Truthfully, no. You can't live your life worrying what if. That's not living, dude. So what if they sell something on you? How can anyone prove it's true, the media already write all kinds of fake shit about us, what's a bit more?" said Zach.

Dex knew he was right, but ultimately all he worried about was what his mom would think. He knew any kind of scandal would disappoint her, embarrass her, it was his biggest worry. He didn't want his fame to affect his family, when truthfully, his parents were so proud of him and so easy going that they wouldn't have cared. They knew him and they knew what was true and what was not and that's all that mattered to them.

"I guess," Dex replied.

"Just keep your guard up and don't tell her anything you wouldn't want printed. At least at first," said Zach.

"Woah! Get you with the sensible advice!" Dex joked.

"Full of it, man!" Zach laughed. "Can't wait to meet her Friday," he added.

"Maybe, but Lucie will be there," said Dex. His face dropped a little, he knew she would be there but saying it out loud sounded worse, it was the sudden realisation that he was never going to get a minute with Millie with Lucie being there!

"You know what these things are like, you'll barely see Lucie, between warm-ups, sound checks and she's on a different stage, don't worry about her, man," Zach said reassuringly.

"Hope so," said Dex. "I need to end it," he added, something he wasn't looking forward to! He hated confrontation and didn't want to break her heart. He had fans sending mail and sending messages through the band's social media on a daily basis telling him he'd broken their hearts and although he knew he hadn't done anything, he still felt a little bad and hated the thought of making anyone unhappy. Even strangers. "Yeah, you do. Do it Friday, get it over with. I'll look after Millie," Zach laughed.
