"Man, what a day!" Groaned CJ as he climbed aboard the tour bus; they'd done back-to-back TV and radio interviews for 11 hours straight!
"I've never talked so much in my fucking life!" said Dex, following behind him. They all slumped down in the seating area, exhausted.
"Mac, crack the beers open!" said Jesse. Dex pulled his phone from his pocket. He hadn't heard from Millie all day, she'd not replied to his last message. He was dying to text her again but he didn't want to seem too keen. He wasn't going to chase her, as much as he wanted to get to know her he wasn't that kind of guy. He was a little shy, he definitely wasn't a ladies man! He needed her to come to him. He opened the photo of Millie she had sent him and just stared at it. Man, she did something to him! Just looking at her sent shivers down his spine, he could feel the hairs on the back of his neck stand up. He couldn't get his head around how he could feel like that from just a picture, he'd barely felt like that with a girl in person! He could only imagine how intense it would be to actually be with her in the flesh. Though the thought of it made him nervous. "I'm heading to bed guys, I'm beat," said Dex.
"Yeah, I won't be long either," replied Zach, "I'm exhausted too," he added. His phone rang so he went outside the bus to talk in private; it was his girlfriend Emma calling from the states. Dex hated that he cheated on her so much. Emma was one of the nicest girls he had ever met, she was one of very few girls Dex felt completely comfortable with, he could talk to her about anything. He totally felt like he was betraying her knowing about Zach's numerous infidelities whilst on tour, but he knew he couldn't say anything. He had been best friends with Zach for years and his loyalties had to lie with him, he hated feeling in the middle of it.
Ten minutes later and lights were out on the bus, all the guys and crew were in bed. Dex looked at the time on his phone: 8.49pm, lights out this early was nearly unheard of, clearly the day had taken its toll on everyone! Dex was pleased, he craved peace and quiet, time inside his own head. His life was one constant noise, surrounded by people and chaos 24/7, he wanted nothing more than time to think, time to just chill. He lay in his bunk cuddling his pillow, browsing the band's Twitter feed. He wasn't a social media fan but sometimes it was nice to read nice things about himself. He was ridiculously popular amongst their fans, every other tweet was about him, and it certainly gave him an ego boost. As he read through them all he wondered what these girls would think if they knew he was reading their tweets.
"Hey, Mac," Dex whispered, loudly! Led by Zach a choir of shushes followed. Zach laughed.
"No Dexter, you're not having another beer!" replied Mac, anticipating his question.
"No, that's not it. Mac, I'm bored, can I do a Twitter question and answer session on the Craze page?" The others often did this, the fans loved it, but Dex had never done it before, he had never been interested in doing it before but with his feelings towards Millie his attitude towards the fans was changing somewhat and for some strange reason he felt like doing it.
"If you want to, but don't say anything stupid!" replied Mac, he was already worried about the damage control he may have to do afterwards. Dex was unpredictable.
@CRAZETHEBAND Dex here. Let's do a QandA! Hash tag #AskDexRose Go!
Immediately the band's twitter page went mad! Fans were in a frenzy to get their questions in, there were literally hundreds within seconds!
"Do you even know how to work Twitter, dude?" Zach teased.
Dex smiled to himself in the dark, ignoring him as he read through the tweets and began to answer some. Zach started laughing to himself, the bus was pitch black and Dex had no idea what he was doing. Zach logged into the band's Twitter too, sending Dex wind up tweets and answering fans questions stupidly as Dex.
