The plane began to disembark and in minutes they were in the terminal building joining the back of the queue for immigration control.

Dex got the wipe out and cleaned up his face before they faced the media. Splitting up with Lucie on the same night he got home, face covered in blood was a story for the media that wrote itself!

Surprisingly as the band emerged into the arrivals terminal it was quiet. They could see a few paparazzi waiting outside of the main terminal doors but there were no crowds. The airport was calm with only a handful of people inside, none of which seemed at all interested in the band.

"Awesome!" said Dex as Mac led them outside to a waiting car. The double automatic doors opened and immediately the flashes started, Dex thought surely these people would rather be in bed at nearly 3am!

With no fans holding them up they were in the car and on their way in minutes! Dex's parents only lived ten minutes from the airport and he was going to stay with them, he had four days off before a festival in Chicago on Thursday and he was looking forward to some quiet time with his family somewhere he could completely relax and wouldn't be bothered by fans or paparazzi. Plus the thought of his mom's home cooking was pretty appealing too!

Zach was dropped off first at his girlfriend's apartment in Manhattan. A few minutes later the car pulled up outside of Dex's mom and dad's house. It was dark and quiet as he grabbed his bags from the boot. He leaned into the car.

"See you Thursday, guys," he said to CJ and Jesse. CJ was asleep.

"Bye man, enjoy your days off!" replied Jesse as he shut the car door.

Monday morning arrived early for Millie but for once it wasn't the sun that had woken her. Instead it was an intense rainstorm lashing against her window. She loved the rain. Looking at her phone she was pleased to see 6.41am displayed on the screen, she had time to lie in bed and listen to the rain until her alarm went off. She felt odd this morning. After an eventful week, a fun weekend shopping, drinking and dancing with Amber the reality of Monday morning hit her like a brick! She rarely felt down but this morning there was something eating away at her, but she had no idea what. She had a lot to look forward to, a meeting with Mr Salvatore about designing her own shoe collection, celebrities coming into the office today to discuss designs for dresses for Cannes Film Festival, Millie had been beyond excited for weeks to design for such high-profile people and at such a high-profile event, but this morning her enthusiasm escaped her.

Laid in bed she had a browse through Twitter as she did every morning when she woke. She was disappointed to not have any messages from Dex, she'd not heard anything from him since the early hours of Saturday morning as he left for America and thoughts had begun to fill her head. Did he make it home okay? Did he just do this with fans all the time? Was he in love with Lucie and just wanted a bit on the side? She knew he was busy and lived a chaotic lifestyle but with each hour that had passed Millie began to lose hope of seeing him again. Maybe he had changed his mind; she knew he was struggling with the idea of dating a fan.

It took all her willpower not to text him; she was determined not to be that girl. She wanted to play it cool, she had learned from past relationships that the less contact with him the more intrigued he would be by her, though not hearing a word from him she began to wonder if she was doing the right thing.

The drive to work took forever, traffic was horrendous and it always was on a rainy day! She turned the radio on and her eyes welled up a little. She just wanted to rewind, she had pinned all her hopes on Friday being the beginning of her relationship with Dex, she hadn't even contemplated it being the last of it. Pulling down the sunshade she looked in the mirror, she was a mess, the rain had already got the better of her hair this morning and her watery eyes had un-set her eye makeup. From smoky and seductive to woeful panda! Brilliant! she thought.
