9. MESSIAH HAD TO BE LIKENED TO HIS BROTHERS IN EVERY WAY

    Hebrews 2:14-18 TS2009  Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself similarly shared in the same, so that by means of His death He might destroy him having the power of death, that is, the devil,  15.  and deliver those who throughout life were held in slavery by fear of death.  16.  For, doubtless, He does not take hold of messengers, but He does take hold of the seed of Abraham.c Footnote: cSee Isa_41:8-9.  17.  So in every way He had to be made like His brothers, in order to become a compassionate and trustworthy High Priest in matters related to Elohim, to make atonement for the sins of the people.  18.  For in what He had suffered, Himself being tried, He is able to help those who are tried.

    Deuteronomy 18:15-19 TS2009  “יהוה your Elohim shall raise up for you a Prophet b like me from your midst, from your brothers. Listen to Him, Footnote: bSee footnote at Deu_18:18.  16.  according to all you asked of יהוה your Elohim in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, ‘Let me not hear again the voice of יהוה my Elohim, nor let me see this great fire any more, lest I die.’  17.  “And יהוה said to me, ‘What they have spoken is good.  18.  I shall raise up for them a Prophet c like you out of the midst of their brothers. And I shall put My Words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. Footnote: cSee also Act_3:22-26, and Act_7:37.  19.  And it shall be, the man who does not listen to My Words which He speaks in My Name, I require it of him.

If Messiah's earthly father was not Yosĕph (or Joseph), and his daddy was Elohim, as the Matthew chapter 1 leads a person to believe through the miraculous virgin birth, then this would make Messiah only half the likeness of his brothers, and Mosheh (Moses), Dueteronomy 18:15-19. You would then need to inject more counter-measures such as "He's 100% man and 100% Elohim," to cover up the reality of 50% Elohim and 50% Man.
